The longer the Jets delay, the less they will get for him. Amari was an elite premier young player that cost us a #1 pick. So why all the talk about two picks and a player for Adams? I bet whenever he his traded, we will be shocked at how little the Jets got back other than a #1 pick.

our run defense would be greatly improved and while adams gives us flexibility in the passing game our starting CB's are a weakness.

I wouldn’t trade a 1st, let alone a 1st, 4th and a player
You have to pay him too
That’s way to high

No money left and we need to keep our draft picks.

There are multiple ways Cowboys can afford both Clowney AND Adams.

https://fansided.com/2020/06/26/dallas-cowboys-rumors-jadeveon-clowney-contract/

As for draft picks, Cowboys have extra 3rd next season. Further, a 1st for a 24 year old multiple pro bowler considered a playmaker/disruptor and tops at his position is exactly the ceiling expected of a 1st round pick, especially a LATE 1st round pick.

Its win-win.

How's about Dallas just makes an even-steven trade with the Jets, Dak for Adams. No need to spend big money on Dak for a Super Bowl. With all this talent, Dalton would be on fire AND Jerry would be saving a fortune.

Jets aren't moving on from Darnold this year so why in the world would they want Dak

He’s been in the league 6 years
Probably proven about all he can prove
It’s not like he’s a guy coming off an injury season
I like clowney but he’s not the pass rusher some seem to think
He has like 32 sacks in 6 years
Good point. Especially knowing he is gonna want top dollar.

I believe Clowney already has a $17 mil offer and why do you think Adams would agree to stay on his rookie contract - the reason Adams wants to leave is cause he want a new deal.
Clowney might have an offer for 17 mill but just stated he wanted to play for Saints or Cowboys. Jamal Adams said that if he went to Cowboys he would work with them with salary cap and contract. Just reporting what was put out there

So a third round pick. Do you think they will take a third round pick. I am not giving up a 1st round pick for a safety. Just me.

A young 2 time (out of 3 seasons) pro bowler???

Absolutely would give up a late 1st without hesitation, every single time.

Although I know this could really never happen, lets just imagine if it did. Clowney comes her on a 1yr prove it deal. We pay him 10 mill plus some incentives. We trade a 1st and 4th plus Xavier Woods to Jets for Adams.
Adams said if traded here he would work with team on salary, so we keep him on rookie salary.

First off, that's a lot to trade for the privilege of paying Adams big money.

"Work with" and continuing to play on his rookie deal are not the same things. Dude wants paid.

Way to much Madden logic here, Jets drafted a Qb two years ago. Just another flame Dak post
