Was visiting one of my daughters - she acquired a pit from the ASPCA where she volunteered. I didn't know. Was sitting on the couch, reading, when suddenly I had the head of a 50 lb animal on my thigh. Damn near hit the ceiling; I then learned that the dog did that to anyone sitting; just wanted attention and it's head scratched. She was completely docile and as friendly as could be.

That's the truth, and the other truth is that Zeke will be getting quite the financial ding for this act of irresponsibility.

Zeke will not feel anything other then maybe his homeowners premium increase. That lawsuit will be covered by his insurance carrier.

Depending on how much his liability is. Her lawyer will go after more. Unless he has his liability set very high. His liability will have to pay for her medical that includes the surgery. Her lawyer will want to push this in front of a judge. Insurance companies have very good lawyers.

There is also other aspects of this. If she works for the pool company then there maybe a workman’s comp claim. She is going after pain and suffering which workmans comp don’t pay on. There is a dollar value perhaps put on a % of loss of limb usage. They will pay her tax free 80% of her salary. Then I bet workman’s comp goes after his homeowners. This sounds to be a personal lawsuit after everything for pain and suffering. If she has her own health insurance then her insurance picks up the tab and goes after his homeowners. They will pay up to his liability limit. I am sure her lawyer knows what to do.

Just because pitbulls and rotweillers continually attack other living things is no reason not to have them running around free in our neighborhoods. I suppose next you will want to get rid of all the grizzley bears and saber tooth tigers.

So are you saying we should like .... or love every player that jerry hires simply because they are on the cowboy team now??
Regardless of what they do , or how they act, or the trouble they get into??

That seems quite silly to me.

If elliot was not on the cowboys, if he was on the eagles team you would probably not be defending him, and would be trashing him.
But since he wears the star, he and his dogs can do whatever they want , and it is A ok with you ?

The the thing is , in the past , before the internet, we knew nothing about the players, unless it got in a newspaper, which was rare.
now days we get all sorts of information on them , and it can make them unlikable. Except for those who just are into hero worship.

Well that's is your opinion. I made my statement, and you made yours.
And if any other player on any other team, my response would be the same. Get to know all the facts.
I do not expect every fan to like every player. But some of the comments go beyond fandom.

There is a reason why the Cowboys are the most loved and the most hated team. You should be able to guess why.

Just my opinion but it seems to me that Zeke should have volunteered to cover the medical expenses that were incurred by his dogs not being properly restrained. It certainly doesn't take a genius to anticipate the problem, long before that situation arose. He was carelessly negligent.

I
The first 4 sites I googled all say otherwise. So you are more of a expert then WebMD, rovercom, petmd, petfinder, all say rottweiler is a top 10 most intelligent dog breed. Unless you're a canine psychologist, I'll believe them. And probably still would, even if you are.
He's just jealous because they are higher on the list than him. :muttley:

One of my all time favorite dogs was a friend's male Rotty.

How do you know that? Do you have all the facts that no one else seems to know? Can you not imagine a scenario where someone puts themselves in a position to be attacked by dogs protecting their home and the homeowner not be at fault? I sure can. That’s why I will wait for the actual facts.
