I want to but don't want to bring my brothers in arms any trouble. Just know that they wanted to give you what you wanted. It will happen.

I’ll be eager to support it when they do. I played so much of that I got to the point where I would just use the base revolver and the machete.

Also, note me representing the Dallas Star on the backpack.

Unfortunately, I know too much about this kind of situation. There is so much pressure to deliver games on time. I have multiple friends at ND and while I won't comment specifically, let's just say it was inevitable. I will comment that the marketing team needs to shut up sometimes. Doesn't help the gamers but it is what happens. There is a disconnect on what is reality and what is promised. I would never work for that company is all I will say at this point.

I'm not a gaming industry expert by any means, but, I do wonder how often these kind of things happen. As a COD fan, I've watched things like this happen over the last decade. Starting with the split at Infinity Ward (which spawned Respawn). It sounds like a really cutthroat industry with creativity being squeezed out by profit margins. Now there are rumblings that Treyarch had some creative visions of theirs for the Black Ops 4 game pulled out from under them by Activision. Ultimately they released a game without a campaign/unfinished Battle Royale. It just feels like it's more about dollar signs these days. I understand it's a business, and profit is necessary to stay afloat, but it feels like consumers get the short end of the stick. I read a pretty interesting article about how some people at Treyarch were getting treated (underpaid/overworked) to push out a game under a strict deadline and it was pretty insane to read. It's becoming less about good content and more about the bottom line.

What you're describing is exactly what happens at many companies. I worked at a studio that made AAA titles and went 6 months without a day off, working mandatory 12 hour days. Multiple times, I had 200+ hours for a 2 week pay period. We're paid salary too, so no extra pay for all those hours. When the game was finished, a bunch of us were quickly laid off. The other brutal aspect is you get hired to work on a specific game and then through mismanagement, the game gets cancelled and you're laid off for that. Most people don't last very long in this industry for a reason. I work at a small studio now and would not take another job at one of the big ones.

Did you at least get bonuses (regardless I would never want to be a part of this myself)? Many in the industry know what they're getting into. From what I've heard though is more people are happy with smaller studios. I've heard of Bethesda and gearbox and many others screwing over staff bonuses due to nitpicking certain goals like not meeting review scores despite selling more than expected.

Sometimes you get a bonus and / or royalties but unless you're at the top of the food chain, it doesn't cover the hours you worked. The distribution is usually just up to the discretion of the higher-ups and it's incredible how it's thrown in your face. At one company, I worked on a title that sold millions so we were all expecting big royalties. The first check comes and it was disappointing to say the least. Then you see other people with the same job title showing up in brand new sports cars the next day.

A funny story about that company is that someone got a list of everyone's salary and royalty payouts and posted it on our internal board. It showed how much your pay was based on popularity rather than production. It caused a near revolt and quite a few people quit on the spot.

Please be good! It looks the part, just give me a decent campaign and playable characters. Iron Man looked good (The character in the game not the VR game coming out next week).
I'm not a huge super hero guy but this one is looking good.

Who is the Indian super hero lady (2nd clip)..I saw her in passing on youtube but don't know that world too much outside of the movies.

Thanks homie, got my gaming juices going. Demolition Man kept flowing through my head watching the first scene with the dirty cop. Going to be some good depth to this, I forget that Witcher folks are making this and they don't mess around. Interested to see how the combat feels going from hack n slash to fps.

I was going to download that today, but then I heard bad things about, and then the reviews I've seen seem to love it. I'll wait until next week because I've got a large project I have to complete by this weekend and I will travel the first part of the week out of state.

Let us know how the game is (without spoilers).

Finished TLoU2.

Huge fan of part 1. LOVED Factions multiplayer and still play on occasion. Was jacked for part 2 and looking fwd to it for a long time.

I want to talk about this game. A LOT. Anyone that wants to talk about this game— direct message me. Specify if you want to talk about it spoiler-free or not.

I cant recall atm for what, but he was banned a while back for doing something at a video game conference. This time the banning is supposed to be permanent, whatever he did to get banned though I have no clue. His online persona is kinda a ****** ya, but pretty certain that was just to get viewership. The games I have seen him stream he has been very good at.
