Sure seems like this staff is looking for the same type of corners that Richard loves.
Now if they can just coach them better.

Sorry, but that second sentence is a bad, bad take.Chido is our best corner. In many ways, he was better than Jones last season.

Chido and potato chip better bring their A game or they will find Lewis and Diggs starting.
Kris Richard doesn’t even have a job. What does that tell you?they hired Nolan to be DC.
he hasn’t coached as DC since the nightmare in Atlanta.
he was hired as DC because he gave MIke the OC job at 49ers.
they are big buddies.
I think that is more of what WR the NFL is producing, 6'2+ 210+ if youf 5'10 and 190 and you have to out jump someone that is 6'2+ and same vertical you do the math bigger man wins most of the time. That's what I'm saying

CB's on the Falcons when Nolan was DC:
Asante Samuel: 5-10
Desmond Trufant: 6-0
Robert Alford: 5-10
Robert McClain: 5-9
Charles Mitchell: 5-11
That's from preseason 2013. Doesn't appear Nolan prefers taller CB's.
No one said we did. However, people keep saying this staff also prefers taller CB's. As the DC in ATL, Nolan filled the roster w/ shorter CB's. So, it appears that taller CB statement may not be true.we dont want to copy the 2012-2014 Falcons defense.
They were terrible.
Thank you.Lol. I am not a Chido fan at all. Guy is Mr Apathetic out there. Zero dawg in him.
Chido played almost to a T how his scouting report said he would. Many scouts thought he was more of a slot type or S. That's what I'm seeing.Thank you.
That guy has way more fans on this forum than he has earned.
Guess things like that make it a great game. People can watch the same thing and take a complete opposite view of it.
What I saw was that when a 3rd down needed to be converted, far too often was 24 the guy who was in coverage.
Whatever they use these days to measure corner play, I'm sure Awuzie being around to pick on had a lot to do with Jones's evaluation.
