With Dak playing under the franchise tag in 2020, he faces the prospect of not having to worry about being tagged again if 2020 is a bad year for him. He likely wouldn't have to worry about contract negotiations, either.
He would likely be released at the end of the season and be a true free agent.
Dak has everything to gain, but also everything to lose.
So it begs the question, how will he respond to pressure?
With McCarthy in his first season, and Kellen Moore in his 2nd, the shakeup of the squad has to bear on his mind as to how they will respond.
One thing is certain; Dak will be under pressure in 2020. He will either perform well, or he will be unemployed by the end of the season.
If things start to go badly for the team, and him as well, do you think he will just give up and be ready to move on?

If you see Dak is doing well this year, will you give up?

QUIT WITH THESE TROLL THREADS.
If you for some reason still feel compelled to do these same troll threads over and over...do them in the overtime zone.

I expected a lot of responses like this. I am not bashing Dak, but apparently unless you are kissing his feet, it's considered bashing.
But this is a legitimate question.
Dak seems to have a history of "reeling it in" when he thinks he can't win.
Not sure about what "reeling something in means".

But the playcalling and the moving away from running to passing just spell disaster for us.

Garrett is gone.

That alone should help Dak.
