July is here 14 days before the deadline.
Simple Yes or No vote gent's.....
One thing's for sure, Dak slobberers are shaking in their boots. When is the last time a Dak slobberer told you you'll be crying when he signs any day now? They've lost their guts, not that they ever had any.

Local media seems to be at about 50/50 these days. My personal feeling is that it's about 70/30 in favor of a long term deal being signed.

I think they are going to try. Maybe a 4 year deal but the 5th year will be to steep. That’s ok. If he gets better every year then extend him again. If not then we will likely have a 3 year out. A new staff will have a breath of fresh air for this whole team. I am more concerned about the new Defense..

With the posts you make.....I really wonder how old are you. Like who over 18 even says things like "Dak slobberers"? Like what adult or parent even talks like this?

I think a deal gets done before the deadline. One thing I have no doubts about is Dak playing this year be it on a tag or on a new contract. I think it is important for both sides to get something done before the deadline which leads me to think when 2 sides feel the need to get it done the chances of it getting done are pretty good.

No.
And who really cares? I just need this team to win a divisional round game and get to a NFC championship game. It has been since January 1996 that we won a divisional round playoff game. I don't care about SB talk about Americas team rhetoric.
We are a mediocre team based on our playoff success. Paying average players superstar money has never worked out ever!!
Bill refused to pay Brady top dollar when he was the center piece of 6 SB's, but we and other teams are willing to break the bank on good players.(Goff, Jimmy, Cousins, Wentz and the rest of them)
What Dak deserves or doesn't is a market question I agree but this is stupid. Jerry likes these types of distractions and daily headline news so you reap what you so, 25 years of being a football clown show.
Jimmy hated distractions from the start. He go rid of lazy unproductive guys. There was no place for mediocrity back then.. man I miss those days of high school and college watching that team.
Hopefully McCarthy can turn around our biggest issue which is culture and lets see what happens.

I talk like that and say other idiotic things when I'm joking around or being sarcastic, but this dude is actually serious.

No.

It’s too late to sign Dak to a team friendly contract.

Dak now has all the leverage and he’s already shown last year that he’s not afraid to bet on himself. There is much less risk for him now with his $31 million fully guaranteed contract.

Knowing the Cowboys’ luck Dak will have a big year and his price will continue to go up.

Feels like a Jerry move...the news is slowing down...the timing would be perfect...
