interesting statement. So it is your belief that carr is on a better team but does not produce as well as Dak.

hmm. that is an interesting statement. Can't wait to see how you change this statement when simple things are pointe out.

and the topic of the thread is "Under Appreciated"

Wait you think Derek Carr would be better than Dak on a similiar team? Derek Carr? That's an interesting statement, and will add to the list of (insert name here that isn't as good as Dak but can produce the same or better). Wonder who is next, Minshew?

Probly me. And I will play for 20 million a year. All up front and guaranteed of course. I have to protect myself from injury.

Above average is a range. LOL

Meaning if you cant even see that he is at least above average, don't even join the conversation. And seeing as you said Dak was backup material, then average looks like you don't qualify.
To be fair. I said Dak would be an excellent backup QB. Well above average as a backup. LOL

Maybe I'll get a window sticker that says "My QB is the best backup in the league".

2011- 9th best defense by DVOA no playoff wins
2013- 14th best defense 7-9 record no playoff wins
2014- as you mentioned was the 3rd best in the league, zero playoff wins
2015- 16th best 7-9 no playoff wins

Saying he's had one above average defense, simply isn't true.

the 11 and 14 lions teams were good. The defenses were good and they had one of the most dangerous passing games in the league.

The 2011 playoff game vs detroit New Orleans never punted and gained 645 yards and scored 45 points. Brees threw for 466 yards. The saints still needed to recover an onsides kick late and score to hold off staffords offense.

Now if you think that is on the qb fine but if so lets talk about that 2016 loss to the packers again.

stafford is excellent and has actually been under appreciated although paid well.

the topic is under appreciated and stafford falls in that category.

Yes, Dak is the most durable QB in the NFL.

nope. he is durable but guys like willson and the now retired eli manning never miss any games. Dak cannot be the most durable if the league has players who have played twice as long and never missed a start.

TBH, I don't know if one can claim he's durable, while simultaneously blaming losses last year on his injured shoulder.

That's one of the dumbest things I've ever heard.

Cmon…………….not sure why you guys cant admit you were wrong about Dak. Isnt it a great thing that you were wrong?

To land a Dak level QB with a 4th round picks is a miracle. Especially right at the tail end of the Romo era.

With a REAL HC and a young up and coming OC in Moore this offense should be gang busters.

What is a Dak hater?

Is that a Cowboy fan who criticizes his ability and offers criticism or is that a non Cowboy fan who simply doesnt like him like we hate opposing QB’s.

I think it’s time we define Dak Hater? Cause it’s beginning to sound like a childish term this generation of fans use.

It was the #1 offense last year that struggled scoring against the better teams in all of our losses.

Unless you’re a Fantasy Fan 8-8 didn’t raise any banners.

We looked like a SB team against lesser teams and less than capable against Elite teams.

Is this coaching going to take us to next level beating the more Elite teams our #1 offense wasn’t able to last year?

The Guru speaks!!!!

Happy as a clam with Garrett, but all skeptical when a REAL HC is hired.

Here is one poster that is willing to bet that you will be dead wrong like you always are.

A Dak hater is someone who mostly posts only "Dak sucks" threads and posts. They know who they are.

But I will bite...………..

Offense was #1 in yards, but bogged down at times in the red zone. Play calling and scheme were a big issue.

Games were Garrett demanded we pound Zeke up the middle on first down early are games we fell behind early.

Defense didn't help out with field position and special teams was horrid including the kicker. Lack of turnovers on the defense also hurt.

If the offense alone improves in the red zone and the defense and special teams improve we should be primed for a heck of a season.

Defense, special team, coaching need to catch up to the offense.
I sincerely hope our lack of success has been all about our coaching. And I’d agree with some of our weaknesses on defense and special teams.

But I suspect our weaknesses run deeper.

And I’m not sure how we know Garrett demanded such strategic moves as you’ve described. Sounds more like you’re blaming the less successful strategy then not giving credit for the more successful ones.

It might be entirely possible the better defenses and more Elite teams simply are better than we are.

At some point though a #1 offense with a heralded top 5 QB needs to carry a team to some wins and higher productions against these Elite teams despite the other weaknesses on defense, etc.

While history has proved great offenses and QB aren’t enough to carry a team to a championship without good defenses they have been able to lead their teams to the brink. Let’s hope coaching is all we were lacking. I’m anxious to find out.

I will happily admit I am wrong if/when it becomes apparent that I am. I was ready last season after three games. Then the rest of the season happened.

I don’t go into all of the Dak threads but I don’t see a lot of “ Dak sucks” threads and post. I see much criticism. Which some is valid and some appears a little over the top. More seem to be doubtful. This appears to be more like the perils we had for years with Romo.

The some of the same people that use "dak hater" also use "romosexual"....so...there you go.

I think the most common definition of "Dak hater" is anyone who thinks there are flaws and especially anyone who'd rather not pay him so much money.
