thats a good one. He showed out well last preseason and would have made the 53 HAD it not been for an injury. He was a very instinctive linebacker. I like his chances.
He was active for 6 games last season. Players have to be on the 53 to be active...

Was really hoping for him to do well. His rookie camps they said he looked great then he gets injured and last year didn’t do much.

Man if he goes off can you imagine. 4 WR sets, Gallup, Lamb and Ced, Cooper.
Garrett didn't know what he had with Wilson, gave up on him way too soon.

The Dallas Cowboys have an abundance of big names but it is the “pet cats” or little known players that I will be keeping an eye on with a shot to make the opening day roster. Pet cats are players that have little or no name recognition to the casual fan that have caught my eye.

The first guy out of the gate has the biggest name but didn’t get a lot of playing time last year. Safety Donovan Wilson is a guy that showed promise in preseason last year but was an afterthought when the season began.

The former sixth-round pick out of Texas A&M showed very good ball skills during the preseason intercepting two passes and played very good run support. This player should get a fair opportunity to become a regular rotational player and could have an outside chance at starting.

Not on this list, but Jon'Vea Johnson for sure.

Struggled a bit in preseason last year, but has a great skillset to be the #4 or a deep threat in this offense...similar role as Mecole Hardman.
I hope he has been able to remove the cinder blocks off his hands...he has speed and quickness for days.

Rico and Darius J...

Forever and ever!

Where's the Matt Johnson love? Justin Beriault? Ryan Switzer?

You're much too picky. Wait, do I hear some ... Buehler? ... Buehler?

Randall Williams had cinder blocks, Jon'Vea just wanted to run before he secured the catch. That's something that can be coached out of him. Not saying it will be, but it can be.

Man I’m doling our likes to er’body here, excited for tons of the folks named so far...
I’m extremely interested in Donovan Wilson...showed some playmaking ability at a position we haven’t had any since prime Roy Williams.
Love to see what these other guys can do too, hard to name just one and it’s a great thing to have so many intriguing players on the roster:
Biadasz
Anea,
Woods
Jelks
Nooch
Gregory and Smith
The CB from Tulsa

I say I’m less interested in the WR corps because our starters are so good but some positions still need better players and that’s where I’m most intrigued by some of the potential we have and look to see who emerges...

Anae. I think that guy is going to surprise some folks. He was a blue chip player in college... he just didn’t have the blue chip athleticism to match his college production. He was a key cog on maybe college football’s best defense. He loves to play football and always plays like his hair is on fire.

He’s going to be fun to watch.

Also, it will be interesting to see his college team mate Francis Bernard. He also plays with fire, like Bradlee, and brings a take no prisoners attitude that the defense could use. His road to being a starter is blocked, but I think he might be able to make the team.

Randall could RUN, but he couldn't catch a virus in a New York nursing home. smh

All straight-line speed (but lots of it) and no hands. He at least had his moment when he returned that onside kick for a TD and was a pretty decent special teams player.
