Cowboys news: Cowboys potential future center was a defensive lineman not so long ago.
Coming out of high school in Amherst, Wis. Biadasz played both sides of the ball. He was a three-star recruit, listed primarily at defensive end.

He was rated the 52nd best strong side defensive end prospect by 247Sports and the 7th best prospect in the state of Wisconsin. He chose Wisconsin over Illinois State, South Dakota State, Southern Illinois and Western Illinois.

Thanks for digging that info up, I always appreciate all relevant info.
Biadasz was drafted to possibly replace TFred, no more no less, but good stuff nonetheless!

Initially I thought the thread meant the Cowboys recruited a good center with plans to convert him to the DL...

Funny thing is the Eagles allowed us to get him and their great center Jason Kelce is on the verge of retirement.
They will rue the day they didn't draft Biadasz themselves.

6'3" 321 lbs with his athleticism and speed? He's playing the right position. He wouldn't have made it to the NFL as a Defensive Lineman.

My biggest concern with him is his health. If healthy, he's our 2021 starter at Center, possibly starting by the end of 2020.

JJ Watt went to Central Michigan as a Tight End before transferring to walk on to Wisconsin as a Defensive Lineman.

Blake Jarwin was initially a WR at Oklahoma State. Jason Peters was a TE at Arkansas. Pro Bowl Offensive Tackle Alejandro Villanueva (6'9" 320) was actually a WR for Army (weighed about 270 lbs then). It's hard as hell for 365-day-per-year professional evaluators to accurately assess 22-year old men as draft prospects. It's even harder to get it right with still-growing 17-year old high school recruits.
