I'm already predicting the Three Toughest Games on the Cowboys schedule this year will be:
1) At Baltimore
2) At Minnesota
3) San Francisco

And there's always a Sleeper game that we should've easily won going in, but will end up being
an surprising Upset Loss for us - i'm boldly predicting that game to be: @at Washington

Week 1 @LA Rams (Sept.13)

Week 2 ATL (Sept. 27)

Week 3 @Seattle (Oct.4th)

Week 4 CLE (Oct. 11)

Week 5 NYGIANTS (Oct. 19)

Week 6 ARIZONA (Oct.25)

Week 7 @washington (Nov.01)

Week 8 @Philadephia (Nov. 08)

Week 9 PITTSBURGH (Nov.22)

Week 10 BYE

Week 11 @Minnesota (Nov. 26)

Week 12 WASHINGTON (Dec. 03)

Week 13 @baltimore (Dec. 13)

Week 14 @at Cincinnati (Dec. 20)

Week 15 SAN FRANCISCO (Dec. 27)

Week 16 PHILADELPHIA (Jan.01)

How can there be any upset losses when you will go 19-0?

however, the upset loss will be at Cincinnati. If they were to lose a game.

toughest games, Baltimore, one of the Eagles games, SF (maybe) and possibly the Steelers.

that's the one i initially thought of, .the worst team in entire NFL, .but if Ravens become a loss, that could
motivate us to rebound and regroup.... vs an emotional win over Ravens, and going into Cincy land swollen head and vastly over confident ... en route to an shocking embarrassing loss to Cincy

Rough schedule but the nfce still sucks fortunely.
I can see dallas winning 9-10 games.

Going to be really weird to watch games with no fans if there is a season.

Those three home games scare me as they are against all inferior opponents and cannot afford a lose in any of them.

With Garrett gone, there won't be a sleeper game because we now have coaches who should be able to adjust during the game.

You forgot Game #16 which is in week #17. That game is at the New York Giants and that will be the Cowboys upset loss

......because all the Cowboy starters will be on the bench as a result of the Cowboys already clinching homefield advantage throughout the playoffs.

None of us know who the tough teams are going to be. I honestly believe every season is a reset. You never know which teams are going to be the toughest this far in advance. I always believe going into a season that all 16 are winnable and lose-able, regardless of the opponent.

This is where the NFL is completely different than college football. In college fb, the talent disparities between a team like Ala and Vanderbilt are sizeable. Whereas in the NFL, talent differences are razor thin. Which is why having good coaching matters so much more in the NFL than college. So many of the college “coaching geniuses” would not be that great when they are matched up with a team of equal talent.

Toughest game on the Cowboys schedule? The next game.

I never really worry about the schedule, and a lot of that is due to what Bobhaze said in post 13. Then I always consider how good the Cowboys really are. If they're not that good, who cares? If they are good, like in 2016 or 2014, I expect them to win every tough game.

Browns have a top 4 roster and now they hope to have competent coaching. That will be a tough game

How do you figure it's competent? Not trying to argue, just curious.

Stefanski barely had 1.5 seasons as a coordinator and this is Alex Van Pelts first season ever running an offense. You factor in a QB who regressed mightily last season, and they have their work cut out for them.

In a normal year with fans in the stadium, the toughest game on the schedule by far would be traveling to Baltimore on a Thursday night.

I didn't say it was, I said they were hoping for it to be competent. Kitchens and Garrett were in similiar situations of "pretty hard to be a worse head coach" grouping.

That regression likely is unsustainable after his solid rookie season, so they will naturally see a bump just from that.
