To get long a deal you wonder if the team had to agree to tie his salary to a percentage of the salary cap.

It looks that way, but we will see. A contract that long can be structured 100 different ways.

Can't wait to see the numbers, but seems to be the opposite of Dak's stance. I would imagine some high cap figures on the back end though maybe even 40 to 45 million a season with first 4 to 6 years being very reasonable. Would love to see a team friendly front end contract for Mahomes.
