Ever think the Staff is not completely sold on DAK..... Jerry takes care of his players....but there is a reason they have not paid DAK yet
I have, then why would you not trade him when he was under contract or draft a QB early.
Go.

I’m completely bias. Pro Cowboys, nothing else matters. Here is the only stat that matters. How many years has Dak been a starter? How many NFC Championships? How many SB’s?
Ok, now same questions for PM???
So you admit that your numbers are complete BS pulled out of your backside. Got it.

It is considered 10 years 450 million by both the Chiefs and Mahomes and by every agent and team that is negotiating with their QB. The same was true for Wentz, Goff, Zeke, and every other player negotiating their contract extension. The extension is what is counted by everyone not the rookie deal.

Say what you want but it's 12 years at like 477 or whatever. You can't change the math. But you are right about Wentz and Goff. They never got 35 AAV, they played for less then that over 6 years.

I had to dig for it but this guy here smh...

He's talking about the follow on tag here. He's not talking about getting paid 40 but he is right about the tag number. Dak will only make like 37 next year if he plays on the tag.

Of course but there is an easy comparison to make here. Mahomes is a better QB than Dak. Mahomes has also proven he can put a team on his back and win a SB. Dak has not.

Ergo, Dak doesn't deserve what Mahomes got and if people are thinking because Mahomes has an out of the box 10 year contract that has an AAV of $45MM and Dak should approach that number now, they are fooling themselves.
Putting the team on his back is a ridiculous suggesting to make. I understand you don't like Prescott for whatever reason. That is obvious. But if you watched the Chiefs play last year and walked away thinking Mahomes put the team on his shoulders you have a screw loose. Or, you just hate Prescott and noting will ever be good enough. Mahomes IS a better QB, but that's not my point in trashing Prescott because you can't separate your dislike for him and QB market value. We talked a long time ago about this man. And I said the longer you wait to sign him, the more it will cost because of the market. NOT because he's the best QB ever.

.......averaging to about 50 mill a year.

The Kansas City Chiefs have agreed to a 10-year contract, $503 million extension with their quarterback to keep him under team control through 2031, with Steinberg Sports noting the deal includes $477 million in guarantee mechanisms

Dak isn’t as good as Mahomes. Unless tere is a radically unreasonable fan out there, Dak supporters agree that Dak,isn’t as good. But Dak wasn’t asking for a $450 million deal, and I still don’t think he will.

And it was out of a discussion of the rumor Dak was demanding $45MM in that 5th year if he were to sign a 5 year deal.

The point I was making that even Mahomes likely wouldn't even have a year where he made a base salary of $45MM. People, I think, confuse base salary with AAV. They aren't the same thing.
