So if I say Dalton brings value to the team. (Which is 100% truth)

You will claim I am a liar . . & you are somehow good with that?

You must be ok with having no honor & living your life as an insincere fool
The perceived value of Dalton only manifests itself if the need for him arises, which has not happened yet. You should reserve patting yourself on the back for when that happens, not now. Until then, your attack me personally is premature and I resent it very much.

if you are not blowing smoke up peoples *** about dak, then you are a hater.
Dak 101
And if you aren't condemning everything about Dak you are a "lover" or "slobberer"

But neither applies to all Dak detractors or supporters, it just means neither side is void of people who have unreasonable viewpoints.

Grats he will be sitting on the bench all season and will leave in the offseason. Best thing we can hope for is pulling off a trade like the eagles did with bradford

Why would we want to pull off a trade? We need a viable backup QB in case something happens to Dak. Then he leaves in the offseason for a more lucrative opportunity and we get a comp pick.

prime example. guy posts a thread about how we are lucky to have dalton, and you and the other sensitive goobers have to get all worried that it is something bad about dak..
i see you still haven't shaved Goober.

See, there's always one in the group.

Noone asked for you to project your hate in order to promote your Boy.

Going strictly by the article, it's a good thing for the Cowboys to have him.

It's a good thing for ALL COWBOY FANS, because that's what MATTERS . . . Not just DAK FANS. . . and oh yeah, we all are not all HATERS, LOL
I dont know why you are upset about the reality of what andy dalton will bring to this team. Now if he were backing up carson wentz or romo thats a different story. I am a cowboys fan and whether you like dak or dislike the fact is he hasnt missed a game in 4 years

"PATTING MYSELF ON THE BACK"? What does that even mean?

I am not Dalton. I have no accomplishments to pat myself on the back for.

If I was to assume what you meant by that . . . I would say your Fruedian Slip implies if Dalton is the Starter at the End of the Year. . . Then somehow I win.

No this aint about that, but it's that thinking which has you taking a defensive posture towards Dalton.

Its so bad you can't even appreciate the Very Real Value He brings to the team . . . If He plays or not.

A veteran QB at 3 mil is a great thing and after reading Bucky's opinion I am even more delighted in his signing.

And you should be too.

It should be alright for me to appreciate Dalton's signing without being called a Hater.

I like the whole team. . . ALL COWBOY FANS MATTER . . . not just FANS OF DAK

To quote an old Aerosmith song...dream on! When the dust settles there will be new sheriff in town until we draft our guy. Will you follow Dak in his backup role with the other team?
Will you follow this team when dak gets a long term extension?

A comp pick aint a first or 2nd round pick. If that offer comes through you would hope our front office makes that move. Did you seriously just say keep andy dalton as a backup is more valuable than a 1st or 2nd round pick that the eagles turned bradford into lol. Worst fanbase in sports

There is no value until he is needed to QB the team, which will never happen. The rest of your psychoanalysis isn't even worth addressing.

I understand and appreciate that, but I will say this, he was less then a 100% last year when we needed to win to get into the playoffs.

Dalton is a good thing especially at that price. Many of Romo's injuries were freak accidents so anything can happen

Less than 100% doesnt mean the coaches are benching dak anyway for dalton. If dak goes down i dont know if we go anywhere anyway. Our defense isnt good enough to carry an average qb like dalton to a SB like the eagles did

But again, it was still a good move with value because Dalton is in place if needed. The Cowboys may or may not need Dalton this season, but there will always be a point in time when insurance is needed, and there is value in knowing you have quality coverage for whenever that time comes.

I think what you are talking about is degree of value. Obviously the value increases if Dak gets hurt and Dalton is needed, but that value isn't even possible if Dalton were never signed to begin with. Accordingly, there is value in having him available.

In case of emergency is the whole point. There is no current emergency so there is no current value.
Lol exactly. Its like ive paid 10s of thousands in car insurance in my lifetime and never put in a claim. The insurance has been worthless to me.
