4-1
Loss at Seattle

With Billions of dollars at stake, we will have a full season. They will find a way.

Yeah both nfl and tv networks would lose billions in revenue, so they are going to go forward with it.

There are ways to do it, but not sure if nfl is smart enough to figure it out!.

First of all my approach was to judge the strength of our team. Unlike a lot experts i do not think our team is a contender or a playoff caliber team. Too many questionmarks for me. That is for example LT health, RB elite status, LB group, LDE especially pass rush, RDEs weak play last year, swing tackle and to me the biggest questionmark is QB.

Then there is alsoa new system and new coaches during corona times. Which certainly favors teams who stuck to their system for a few years.

That said our first 3 games are no gimmey. The giants wont be a good team and the browns look good on paper but somehow dont know how to put that on the field.

I could see us losing 3 games. Now to me was the question which are the most possible. To me thats 1. Seahawks, 2. Rams, 3. Falcons, 4th Browns, 5th Giants.

As i already mentioned i just cant believe we will start 0-3. It well might happen but when i predict a 3-2 start its also homerism for my Boys.

Thought your first paragraph most honestly summed up my own question marks on this roster. I would even add one as to say "was McCarthy's good w/l record over many years more his coaching or because of Favre/Rodgers who succeeded in spite of historically bad defensive non support during the playoffs?"
His past defensive coaching performances sounds a lot like what has been going on for years here already. Not a big believer in Nolan or #4 so I'll go with a 1-4 start.

This season will not be like any other, as we will not have the full off season and pre season to get ready, nor will any other team. The good news is 2 of our first 5 teams have a new HC and system like we do. So that helps. The first game on the road is always tough but that Rams team just isn't as scary as they were 2 years ago.

1 Sept. 13 at Rams 8:20 p.m. ET NBC
2 Sept. 20 vs. Falcons 1 p.m. ET Fox
3 Sept. 27 at Seahawks 4:25 p.m. ET Fox
4 Oct. 4 vs. Browns 1 p.m. ET Fox
5 Oct. 11 vs. Giants 4:25 p.m. ET CBS

I think we go 4-1 with the only loss to the Seahawks. I do not think that any of the 5 teams are better than the Cowboys. But going to Seattle and winning is always tough.
