which is why I like Dak because he is a very good QB.

If the next QB isn’t good, I’ll want to replace them with one who is. While rooting for that QB to turn things around and start playing well every time they’re on the field. Or for the team to win, despite their poor play if they aren’t good but are still starting.

I hear you. Based on that list, Dak is better than today's version of Tom Brady, Drew Brees and Aaron Rodgers. He's also better than Deshaun Watson and for sure Wince. That easily places Dak in the top 5. His stats on every statistical measure for QBs proves as much. That's not my fandom speaking. Simply speaking based on facts which many don't like to accept for some weird reason, yet had no problem glorifying for 10 years for Romo (yes, I brought up Romo because the comparison on how the anti-Dak crowd or doubters acted towards Romo's stats is completely the opposite to Dak today, so it is relevant). As for the cheladas, those Costa Ricans shortchanged you! lol. You definitely need to try some ice cold micheladas! :thumbup:

why would the record of 8-8 get labeled a Dak record before 13-3, considering that happened 1st? I'm glad we agree on CNN, but you need to stop acting like a child who only throws insults. I give my opinion, how does that make me a liar?

Now they blame Cooper for Dak’s failures. Pre-Cooper, Dak was 30th in third downs, at a whopping 31.9% with this OL and 29th in passing at 183 yards a game, and this with the 4th ranked rushing attack at 136.9 yards per game.

Much of Cooper’s impact this season has been against a man defense. Since Cooper’s first game with Dallas in week nine he ranks first against man defenses in yards (432), yards after the catch (209), touchdowns (6) and has put up a 139 receiver rating.

Having Cooper as a weapon against MAN DEFENSES has improved the entire offense, as Prescott’s game has been elevated to new heights against man defenses, including a 48-point jump in IQR.

Despite this massive jump in production against man defense, Prescott has not had nearly as much success against a zone defense and his IQR has dropped from 100 to 84 with Cooper on the roster. Though he has an 80 percent completion percentage versus zones, it’s almost entirely short-pass based. He has no touchdowns and two interceptions on 91 attempts.

Of course when they played the Colts, they got shut out 23-0, because the Colts, went heavy zone, shifted safety help on Cooper and he caught 4 passes for 32 yards.

Dak is average and completely a product of the surrounding talent. This guy makes a living on the man coverage forced by Zeke and the running game. The guy is Checkdown Charlie against zones and in 2018 had zero TDs against it at that point.

We have two capable quarterbacks who are more than adequate to lead this loaded offense. Is Dak better than Dalton? Of course however it's not by some astronomical amount. Dak is no mahomes, wilson or rodgers when he can put the offense on his back like they can.

Ide rather spend money on the defense as it's been the Achilles heel for a very long time bar a freak year hear and there.

It doesn't matter if Dak puts up massive numbers in the long run when the defense still sucks and we flutter with 8-8 season or lose first round. Just means Dak career will be basically Romo 2.0. Great quarterback overshadowed by postseason success thanks to the defense.

So basically I'm against the while pay dak what he wants. First he's not a top 5 quarterback and hasn't really shown anything that warrants that type of cash. Stats don't win championships. Don't get me wrong as I stated above there's the defensive side of the ball(team game) so the team record is not always a reflection of the quarterback.

When we had Romo it was a completely different feeling. Yes he had his boneheaded moments but it always felt like we had a "chance". I dont get the same feeling with Dak not even close. If it wasnt for Romo I honestly believe the cowboys would have been a bottom feeding team most of the years
