Yeah exactly the way I see it... The effect could last a long time in the organization, long after he is gone.

Then again, it could be a disaster... But, I think it is going to be really interesting.
Either way, worth the watch!

And he moves on to another team are we going to have threads essentially blaming the "haters and trolls" and will the Dak supporters have open arms and support for the next guy? As ridiculous as these questions are I have to wonder based on what I've seen.
The next QB better be perfect. Zero mistakes will be tolerated.

Responding to your post here, first thing I would ask is how much power do you think we have?

Self delusion often bleeds into the general aspects of life as they know it.
If one believes it's important, then all believes it too and the power is contained within.

Not that I'm saying that person is some megalomaniac, but the internet nowadays makes people feel more important than they are.

Things are looking promising as you guys are starting to accept the fact that Daks days due to his ineptness are numbered.
The only thing that will be certain about the next QB his talent base will be superior to Prescotts.
Which to be honest isn't saying much here as Daks talent bar is one of the lowest in the NFL.
We await Mr. Prescott to prove he is worthy of keeping his job and getting a long term deal?

Then he plays on the tag. With the unknown of the current situation and how that will effect the 2020 season the team might want to revisit a long term deal next year or even 2022? I don't think the Cowboys see any reason to rush this. Top 5 pay in 2020 and take it from there.

I wonder how you're going to be if they get rid of Dak and his replacement is even worse and then they go through another multiple year era of nobody-crap QB's.

I'll do my best to keep up on it, should it happen.

It’s 8pm on Friday and all is quiet on the Dak contract front. Were are Ed Werder, Jane Slater, and Fisher? Is Dak’s agent even talking to the Joneses?

Thats a little over board Pappy dont you think.
Dak will have a very long career in this league and make a ton of cash.
Dak will go down in history as one of the healthiest average starting QBs to ever play this game.
Dak gets exaggerated love because Romo couldnt take a hit and recover from it, so Daks resiliency is where all the delusional love fest comes from.
Is there a stat for that?

really isn't fair, considering Dak has shown he's far from perfect and has performed well below expectations in games that matter. Not sure why the next guy has to be perfect

That’s how our QBs are now treated. New guy isn’t going to get any slack. If it was good enough for Romo and Dak, it will be good enough for him too.

I'd say winning the NFC east keeps him as QB. Making the playoffs as an 8-8 or even 7-9 team does as well. If no playoffs, he gone.
I think dak has to get past div round to please the jones boys, JG is gone, if result is an out in div round they might think
it is dak.
I think Jerry is not impressed by just winning east or getting in playoffs. Time to do better than that.

Is the next guy going to be able to play? If you're telling me it's Andy Dalton for a couple years, to hell with that.

I'll be laughing for the next many years it will take Jerry and you Daktractors failed attempts after more failed attempts to find another QB who can put up numbers like Dak has.

I'll be on my recliner drinking an ice cold michelada knowing I was right while saying, "You wanted to get greedy? You didn't appreciate what you had? Well, now it's time to reap what you've sown."

:clap::angry::starspin::laugh:
But in the meamtime, since Dak is, and will be here long-term, I'll be laughing at you and many others in real life! :lmao2:

where was his health in Philly 2 game? his POOR throwing was allegedly because of an injury? he lost that 2nd half by not being able to get a ball to a streaking WR 3 times, wide open ball didnt even come close..
