Starting LG: Issac Alarcon Garcia > Connor “weak” Williams & Connor “always injured” McGovern

The key to this year success will be mitigating pressure from inside and establishing a strong power and zone running game.

I believe that Issac Alarcon Garcia is going to be surprise player on the OL. He is going to win out the LG spot and beat weak Connor Williams and always injured Connor McGovern. He reminds me of Zack Martin & Quenton Nelson who played tackle prior to moving inside. Unlike the Connor brothers IAG has natural strength with tackle feet to dominate the guard position. Cowboys will be able to run an in-depth running game that utilizes Zone, Power & quick dump offs with all 5 OL able to pull in any direction.

In three games against Donald, Connor Williams hasn't given up a single sack. He does well against speed, but struggles against power. McGovern is suppose to be the complete opposite. We should be fine whoever starts.

Let’s clear something up...Connor McGovern played in every game in college. Every one. He suffered a somewhat freak injury last year. Dallas decided to take it slow with him. He is not “always injured”.

Try doing a little work before you post these.

Unbelievable that people will just say anything. You never even heard of the guy until the Cowboys signed him now you know he is going to beat out Conner, just a ridiculous statement.

I don't see this as a key. this was the biggest problem of Garrett. He always tried to do this early and we often fell behind.

I do agree that the middle of the Oline is a key to how well the offense can go.

Never heard of him, but now he's our starter. He has to have one heckuva camp for that to happen. If he beats out three people for the job I'll be his biggest fan. Because McGovern, Williams and Wichmann will get longer looks in camp than he will.
