Old Guard was pretty good. If they don't do a sequel, I'll be very upset, for reasons that will become clear to you at the end of the movie.
I liked it and I think I already get the next episode. However, that very last shot did throw me off and now I want one more than before seeing that.

She is my favorite actress, maybe ever. She can really pull a part off and is one of the most naturally beautiful women I have ever seen. I still have hope that we can be together....as long as we don't meet.

Episode? It's a movie, isn't it?

Yeah, sorry, that damned Netflix and Amazon have ruined me, can't be satisfied with just a movie any more. What??? One episode??? Give me more or I'll cancel!
I assumed it was a series too, until about an hour and a half into it.

I watched Greyhound on Apple TV Saturday night. Like most things Hanks does, it was fantastic. The acting was superior and the overall movie gave you a sense of just how frightening crossing the Atlantic in a convoy then was. Really intense and action packed movie if anyone gets a chance.

I'm also watching Alone on Netflix. I've enjoyed the previous seasons and this one has been good as well. You can tell though that all of the contestants have really studied the previous competitors. The choices of items they bring, how they handle collecting food, and shelter building has all become better thought out and I could see this season ending with multiple people surviving the entire 100 days.

Just finished Season 1 of Warrior Nun. Every episode was better than the previous one. Unfortunately, there's only one season so far, but I very little doubt there won't be another one. I'm actually pretty upset there's no more to watch yet.
Just finished episode ten. Definitely did not see that twist coming.

The cast is pretty well-rounded. Alba Baptista has a future in Hollywood if she wants to get away from European entertainment. Good screen presence, expression, smarts and looks. Plus an excellent American accent. Practically flawless.

Season 2 is setup really well. We need more info on Vincent!

Agree 100% with everything you said.

There are some very interesting characters, and I love the cast. I could have done without the four "friends" she met, but other than that, I have absolutely no complaints.

For me, the friends' part was an essential part of watching her character mature. Maybe I would see it differently if she had grown up thinking being a nun would great if she could but her life experiences to that point had given her a different perspective.

I understand why they had those four there. I just think it could have been a different group of people, with whom she would better relate and from whom she would have learned more.

Well, when you think about it, Ava did better relate to and learn more from a different group of people.

Mary, Beatrice, Camila and Lilith. :)

Agree, that is the best camera work for an at sea war movie I have ever seen That one shot when they hard left rudder to avoid the torpedo had me leaning the other way to right the ship like the first time you fly and they bank, people involuntarily lean the other direction.

They did a masterful job of pulling me in for an hour and a half, and I could have taken more, and getting lost at sea.

I love the Beatrice character, and the actress who plays her is excellent. She reminds me of the girl in The Golden Child.

Has anyone watched The Man in the High Castle, on Amazon Prime? My dispatcher raves about it, but I don't trust his taste in anything...but I just watched the trailer for it and it looks like it might be pretty good. Definitely an original concept.

I enjoyed it enough to watch all 3 seasons. It's definitely a unique show and very well acted.

I started it when it first came out and for whatever the reason didn't continue but I think I'll give it another shot but not because of Crazed Liotta Eyes.
