So every year that oh say Rodgers or Brees or even Brady didn't win the Super Bowl that none of the playoff games they lost were winnable and none of them missed any passes in those games or none of those QB threw any picks in those games that by the way Prescott didn't do in that rams game. I see how evenly you apply your logic (sarcasm).
.
.
You cannot mention or compare Dak to these QBs . He is not in the same category of QBs . Back to your comment about Dak’s blossoming career .... ( sarcasm ) what blossoming career ?

In my opinion, Andy is a quality QB. I like Dak and I believe he will be a Cowboy for a long time. However, I've been an Andy fan for years. Here's my question, if Dak doesn't sign an extension and struggles a bit early in the season, how long until,
1. The fans start yelling for Dalton?
2. How long until MM or Jerry pull the plug on Dak?
The fascinating aspect of this question is you really don't have to be great to look great quarterbacking this offense. They are loaded. Dinucci could look good in this offense; no hyperbole.

There's a chance this becomes a bigger conversation in training camp if he decides to ride the tag. With a new coaching staff his position could be less secure than he thinks, especially if he struggles in practice and Dalton hits the ground running. The media will be all over that....

I can't agree with the idea that just any QB could look good in this offense. QB is too key a position to suggest a poor QB wouldn't be capable of making the offense look bad. Even with a good supporting staff a QB needs to be calm under pressure, read defenses, make throws, call audibles etc … in order for the offense to function well.

That speech was funny.

As a new Dalton fan, I think he's a much better back up option than either Ben or Clayton. I never understood the Cooper Rush tenure.

Rush showed some flashes to potentially be very good, but I'd rather have Dalton as the backup.

There are some that think Dalton just needed a good team around him during his career, which if you didn't think he had good teams around him... then.. you... really don't know much about the topic.

But as a backup I am ecstatic
