This statistic has the Niners at #13. The team that had one of the best pass rushes in the league. It shows them of having the same win-rate as the Jets. So it's hard to take this statistic serious.

I remember Darnold talking about this is the post game PC after lighting up the Cowboy's defense.

He was very complimentary of the Cowboy's pass rush win %.

and he wasn't the only one on board with Taco, McClay was on him too.
True but imo wm gets more passes in the personnel dept because of all the good things he's done. Rod stood on the table for 2 disappointments in a row in the area of the defense he directly coached and took pride in.

In the category of useless stats....

In the meantime, the Cowboys are near the bottom of the league in Interceptions almost every year. I thought Pressure and sacks lead to turnovers?

Just heard on 105 3 the fan RJ choppy quote a stat that said the Cowboys pass rush win rate what's 53% which ranked number one in the league. For those who adore Analytics and stats, by this Marinelli may be owed an apology.

I don't see how that would excuse the 7 years of horror and the horrible drafting that was a direct result of Marinelli's advice.

Oh wait...……….I just noticed who the OP was. Makes sense now.

Garrett, Jones, and McClay get blame for agreeing with bad draft decisions.

Marinelli gets blame for making them.

The perpetrator is more responsible for a crime than an accomplice.

We may have had the #1 pass rush win rate, but what are the stats on seemingly getting destroyed in the run game?

The two defensive ends were winning all the time and the DT's were losing every time. There is your 50%.

because it speaks to sacks isn't all you think they are. thats been explained a milluon times

Its pretty simple actually. Lawrence beats his guy and so does Quinn. But the DC knows that those are the only two guys that can do anything so they have a TE chip Lawrence and a RB chip Quinn and the other 3 lineman destroy the DT's and the pocket is held or the running gamesstorms up the middle for a big gain. LOL

The pass rush has been very good. Anyone that cant acknowledge is blind. However pass rush is only a peice of the pie, and other area's of the defense have been subpar

Lol you do know, that Rod didn't call the plays on the defensive side of the ball, right? Right!?
Once again, even if that was true, it means that Marinelli was such a failure of a defensive coordinator that they allowed someone else do to his primary job for him. The patchwork of defensive play calling lies on Marinelli's shoulders.

His biggest accomplishment in Dallas was making no name NFL players with little talent seem competent. And by competent, I mean good enough to make an NFL roster, not good enough to start.
