Yep. Essentially the Cowboys went into every game fighting with one arm behind their back. Which explains why they could beat the teams with bad personnel but lost to better coaching.
To be fair. Dez Bryant and demarco Murray cost us the game in 2014. Between Murray getting chased down by a defensive end and Dez forgetting the moment in the game and extending instead of dropping you can’t put it all on Garrett. On Marinelli yes.

Danny is a lot like of the kids on this site arguing nonsense with dishonest intentions.

Dak's actual playoff numbers since 2017:
2 games, 4 TDs. 1 TO.

But I'm sure if you have ESPN stat interns you can find that he was pretty bad in the 1st quarter of night games on thursdays if you try realllllyyyyy hard.
Stats don't tell the whole story at all or else all these Kirk Cousins type guys are deserving of their contracts too. Spoiler they're not and Dak is right there with that crowd of average as expletive qb's

Well he was the genius who even decided to run that play on 4th and 2 to Dez? What a low percentage attempt.

That would be the great tony Romo.
GREAT play by Romo and Dez.

If, after he caught it, Dez just had gone to the ground, everyone is applauding that play.

Without shutdown defenses, teams cannot win Super Bowls by dinking and dunking. Perfect pass, perfect catch...until he tried to be superman and score all in one motion

Dak isnt Mahomes. HE NEEDS all phases to be doing their jobs. We need to understand what Dak is...a solid leader and QB that needs everyone doing their jobs...and not to mention, good coaches.
Guys like Mahomes are just rare.

You could describe Aikman the same way.

I'm not saying Dak is as good as Aikman, but the bulk of Aikman's success was based on all phases of the offense clicking, not on him carrying the team on his back. Emmitt, Irvin, Novacek and an truly great O-Line were huge parts of that situation.

And, realistically, that's the story with most QB's, even very good ones. To a large degree the notion of a QB carrying the team through an entire season and the playoffs without strong support around him is a myth.

Sure, some can step up in individual moments better or more often than others, but that's where you get those rare elites like Mahomes, Brady, Rodgers and Brees.

Most teams aren't going to have the luxury of those rare elites - that's what makes them rare, right? So far and away most teams have to make it work with as strong an overall cast as possible working in the offense along with the best of the next level of QBs they can find.

Game of inches they say....The game was ours late in the 4th Q if it wasn't for Mr. I want 40 million $....one of many games LOST due inept passing!

Clearly Gallups fault. You can’t tell by just watching the video. Never trust your eyes. What you see means nothing.

Several of the Cowboys loses lately were against good teams that the defense Held to under 20 points, so blame the coach, the soon to be very rich quarterback and the offense as a whole. But stop blaming the defense that did their job.

That’s why you let him play under the franchise tag.

Put up great numbers vs bad teams but at times when we needed him most (week 16 comes to mind) he played poorly.

Yeah he deserves some blame there too and I don't know how much leeway Romo had here...I know he had a lot to make it "Romo friendly"...but if i'ma head coach with this offensive line in 2014...on 4th and 2.....that ain't it.
