Will a long term deal be signed today by Dak and the Cowboys?

Nope. Both sides are dug in.

If I am the Cowboys, I put on a good face, say the right things and if I can't get him under contract by the next draft, I absolutely consider taking a QB early in the draft.

Nope. And I now hope Dak is gone by 2024. Let the Nooch sit and learn for three years then, extend him for eight years and let him be our starter.

No..

I think Dallas has a firm number they aren’t coming off of and if it’s 33-35 mill that’s more then he should get paid anyways.

Make him play at 31 and try to replace him.
Agree!

i agree. caving in to an agent's demands is not the definition of doing a good job. stephen's held his ground. he's explained his position with a simple pie chart. many just don't understand the pie analogy.

Exactly, if there was no salary cap I couldnt care less what they pay him.

No....
Was hoping it would be, but now it looks very unlikely.
I get that he wants to earn as much as possible, but to refuse a 5 year contract because you’re already looking at the next contract is dumb as well as selfish.
He could just as easily sign the 5 year one and renegotiate after 3 or 4 years for another big pay day.
