then you need to adjust what you are talking about. In fact it is you that is less informed not those of us who actually watch all the east games.
I told you as much. I sat here and told you no way I can gauge a Giants team as well as as I can the Cowboys. And neither can you regardless of what you say. There's not enough time in the day to be able to follow 4 NFC East teams and do it as well as their fans can. Just can't.

And yet you have time to have 10,000 posts.

Any football fan worth talking to knows more than just what is going on with his own team
Nobody is denying that. The issue I'm denying is you can't tell me as a Philly fan a Cowboy fan knows more about the Eagles than you do. You can believe it if you want. I just know its not true.

I mean yes it was a poor 2018 (though not terrible), but 2019 kind of set the standard of where he will be paid. He comes anywhere close to that again and he will get more than people on here seem to think and I understand why.

I also get why after playing on a 4th round rookie deal he does not want to offer anymore discounts. It is unfortunate, but Dak knows his value and if he pushes he will get every cent that he wants from a large number of suitors.

Then he (and France) have backed himself into a one way ticket to Jacksonville or Indianapolis, teams willing to pay him 'every cent' in todays market.

Im getting the impression that what Dak's outpriced his value to the Cowboys.

LOL I love the part about being a Cowboys fan. But seriously, do you have to watch every game to get a reasonable idea about a quarterback? I live in the New York area so I get all Giants games. But only one or two Cowboys games a year are not aired. I'm a Cowboys fan and I don't go out of my way to watch Giants games, but since we play them twice a year and they're on constantly, I believe I know Eli Manning quite well. So yeah, I do believe Giants fans have a pretty good grasp of the potential of a Cowboys quarterback. Maybe not quite as much as Cowboys fans, but they don't harbor any bias either.

Put it this way. I live in an area loaded with Giants and Eagles fans. Most of them hope we break the bank for him.
Kinda like the eagles already did with Wentz? lol

Dak is the qb. Either pay him or get another qb. If he has a really good year, then the FO has a decision to make. The fan base has already made their decision when it comes to Dak.

Vikings game was lost on the coach. Bronco's game was lost on Romo's interception. Big difference......they were prepared for the Bronco's game. They came in letting Dalvin Cook go off on them like they didn't expect it.

I don't blame the quarterbacks in either of those cases. The coach completely screwed the pooch in the Vikings game and Romo pretty much had no choice. Anyone that watched that game knew punting the ball away was not an option for the Cowboys against Denver. Romo just got sacked the play before. Something had to happen on the next play.

And sadly they are about to do it again. I wonder how Dak will do with adding Lamb and adding a "Qb guru".........he's going to get even better and they are going to be sitting here stupid again next year trying to get him for the deal they could've got him for this year.

Oh it's just going to get worse. Maybe Jerry is hoping for cap hell next season as an excuse?

Jacksonville and Indy are the obvious choices but considering this will likely not happen until after next offseason there are a lot of possible interested teams that will need a QB in 2 years. In theory the Bears will have to have found someone by then but if not they are a target. The Raiders of course. The Patriots could be appealing if Cam does not stay. Keep a big eye on the Bucs in 2 years. The Saints will need a QB after this year but might try Taysom Hill for a year (also to get a little cap breathing room) and after that does not work need a QB. The Steelers are an outside possibility. Then there is of course the fact that you will have all the teams that bombed on their 2016 picks so that is Browns and Jets that are very likely and possibly the Bills.

That is a LOT of teams that will be looking for a QB and several that would consider themselves a QB away (or in the case of Saints and Bucs just wanting to keep high level QB play going to keep window open).

Well it’s not a competition on who knows more about the team. I thought we were talking about fans of other teams knowing ‘enough’ about rival teams to have an informed opinion.

It’s really not that difficult to accomplish this

Sure I can help you with that one.

Watch any of the following Cowboy games from last season: -

Saints
Packers
Jets
Patriots
Bills
Bears
Eagles (proper highlights reel in this one)

Although my personal favourite was the Colts game from the 2019 season. The Colts D forced him to throw in to tighter windows that he's normally used to, i.e. receivers were not in 10 yards of open space...and the offense failed to score a single point (I know right!).

You can't blame Dak it was the special teams at fault!!!!

P.S. And the coaching....:muttley:

Yeah, but the Cowboys cap hit is going to be a little worse than Wentz. The quarterbacks aren't getting any better over this time frame. But the payout and cap hit will be higher the longer they wait. IF the Cowboys have a really good year next season the Wentz contract is going to look great.

Hmm. the bronco's game Romo lost huh but dalvin cook and the coach is the reason they lost to the vikings. Interesting.

Dallas had a 7 point lead in the fourth quarter with 7 minutes to go vs Denver. Dallas had a 1 point lead with 7 minutes to go vs denver.

Dallas had the lead in the game vs denver FOUR different times including a 10 point lead in the game in the second quarter. Dallas only had the lead vs minnesota once at 21-20 with 7 minutes left.

Dallas went from up 10 to down 15 vs Denver and still had the lead with 7 minutes to go.

The broncos went to the super bowl, the vikings got bullied by the 49ers in the divisional round.

Peyton Manning was 33-42 for 414 yards 4td and 1 int.
Knowshon Moreno went 19 for 97 yards a touchdown.

Kirk cousins was 23-32 for 220 and 2 td
Dalvin Cook went 26 for 97 yard and 1 td.

Dallas had an all time bad defense in 2013. Dallas defense in 2019 was middle of the road but much better than 2013.

Interesting take you have. Says a lot.

Respect. A man who knows and understands the game.

An offensive lineman also stepped on Romo's foot in that game as he was throwing the ball for the interception but that's the way it goes. He also threw for over 500 yards, put up 48 points including throwing 5 touchdowns, outplayed the great Peyton Manning and had a QBR of 140 yet the team somehow lost and people blame him! You couldn't make it up. Although I think that pretty much sums up the fans who do not like him, he was expected to up 52 points. Come on Tony what on earth were you thinking!!!!!!

There is only 1 reason why Prescott is starting for an NFL team today......Jerry Jones do I need to say more here???

I imagine you don't really believe this. But just in case you really do, you're a goon...

That day in the stadium was pretty fun. Listening to the idiots call the post game shows and scream about how it was time to cut romo or bench him was pretty funny to me.

They came back repeatedly after the defense blew an early lead against the AFC's best team yet even all these years later the same people blame the same wrong person. Its pretty funny to me and why I don't take much of this stuff so serious anymore.
