Dallas Cowboys adding patch to uniforms for 2020
The Dallas Cowboys are going full-scale retro with their uniforms for the upcoming 2020 NFL season.
According to Cowboys insider and Sports Illustrated writer Mike Fisher, the Cowboys will be donning a new patch on their uniforms in 2020. The patch (pictured below) has the design of the original white Cowboys helmet with the plain blue star in the middle.
Underneath the old-school helmet rendering is a blue text block with “Est. 1960” written in white lettering, denoting the year the franchise was established. Based on the photo, the patch will appear on the front of each player’s uniform on the left shoulder, just above the player’s jersey number:
