Watch this, no throws behind the wr, and most are right on the numbers!
doesnt look old or done to me.
Also he ran for 6 td's, how many did dak have?

highlights for 2019 11 minutes

Dalton is definitely no scrub. If he needs to play, we'll have a chance to win with him. He's not our long-term answer if we lose Dak (which seems likely at this point), but I don't believe any fan is claiming he's our long-term answer. If we need a QB to play for us, either due to Dak being hurt or due to having to let Dak go, Dalton is quite capable.

I'd withhold my judgments until I've seen what he can do behind our o-line.

Andy was under lots of pressure throughout that full game that Cincy won.

Thanks to Dandy Don for providing that full game of Cincy vs. Atlanta. :)

Andy will never be the 2nd coming of Aikman but he'll do as a backup! ;)

Most highlight clips tend to be this way...
True. Even Prescott looks competent then you realise the majority of the jazzy plays are against the formidable Giants and Washington.

Blake Bortles could be edited to look like Peyton Manning.

Dalton is a good NFL QB.

He will play his role however big or small.

Nothing more needs to said.

Dalton played last year without any type of skilled players. WR's all injured, RB's seemed to be in and out. TE injured, OL injured.
I am amazed he is still walking.

We will be fine with Dalton playing.
I just wonder how many will wish Dak failure or injury to get Andy in there.

All I know, is I am glad they signed him, as if Dak does need to miss time, I don't think there will be a drop off at QB.

I don't think you need to "wish" failure for Dak but I do think it's a wise move to see what you have with Dalton in at QB at some point. I mean, if the idea is to use Dalton as your fall back if you have to move on from Dak, you better know what you have.

Don't have to wish for it. He does it nearly every game.

My fear is Dalton is named the starter goes in and gets hurt. That's when the shot storm will hit the fan

Definitely. Dalton is way better than Rush. I’m just amazed at how many folks on these boards think Dalton is an upgrade to Dak which IMO is silly.

I believe you're 100% correct but it doesn't keep me from wanting to see Andy behind our OL as a gauge of what he'll be then! ;)

If I were Jerry, I'd probably be interested in offering him more $$ if he were inclined to stick around as our backup for another year.

You conveniently left out the column of "all-pros and HOFs needed to prop up".
I didn't "coveniently" leave out anything. I just looked up the stats of both on the same site and posted them. I'm not a hater or a lover, I just root for my team no matter who plays for them. Those stats are posted as completely unbiased information.

At least I posted what I found on a site. Your post was an opinion based on your perception of what I was trying to say.....and you were wrong. Everyone knows how you feel about Dak. I on the other hand don't really feel anything one way or the other. I just want my team of 50 years and counting to win and be competitive.
