Imagine taking a guy that tweets this, serious :laugh:

Wow... Romo put it in front of Crayton to keep running, with the sidearm to avoid the defender. That’s pretty much a PERFECT throw. Normally people complain about Dak’s throws are late and behind WRs. Sturm went off the deep end on this one.

This idea that Dak played for beans assumes that he was amazing, instead of Dallas doing everything in their power to baby-sit him along.

Dak had literally been a laughing stock to fans across the league for years and everybody knows how stacked the team is.

Zeke suspension, Smith injured, no Cooper, couldn’t throw a TD in training camp for a full week, doesn’t practice well, WRs like Cole Beasley, among others, saying they were open and then who then goes on to arguably have the best season of their career in Buffalo...

This argument of playing for nothing or peanuts is insane... Dallas BABY-SAT this mean every step of the way, only for his fan base to use stats that were significantly padded by garbage time.

You have another mans picture as your avatar and named yourself after a movie character. Relax my guy. I don’t worship anyone.
Yea you do.

You are in your feelings because I pointed how much of a joke Sturm is :lmao2:

Your parents would be ashamed at your behavior:laugh:

Which is a mystery to me.

Why would players not sign a new deal at more money than they are receiving considering all projections for increases in the cap are predicting massive losses in revenue?

Dak made the mistake of his life.

If he wins a SB..he has only set himself up for a 2nd Tag for another $6-8 million / yr more for one year.

And Dallas could bail out of that if they wanted.

Now at $38 mil in his 2nd Tag he is still very affordable but who knows.

We don't know what the future will hold.

And really, he's been living on $400k and the downside is he is going to make over $40m in a year? Then he's certain to hit the open market the time after that.

It's unfortunate for us fans to not have the security that a long term contact gives. It's natural to doomcast but the next 12 months could go all different manner of ways.

They do it quite a lot and it comes out quite publicly when players retell how the deals happened... yet they are never punished.

Todd France has made good moves for all his clients thus far.
Not signing was the best bet given the best offer Dallas made.

Bob' article details why.
Dallas wanted to come in below Goff money and that was their mindset even though Dak has been better through 4 years and made 25M less on the rookie deal plus Goff got an early extension long ago.
Dallas were the greedy ones here. Not France and not Dak.

QFT

That is on Stephen Jones. He should have extended Dak BEFORE the season.
Once they didn't both sides can pull out of any agreement until it is signed.
Stephen knew the offensive firepower they were accumulating and the passing stats by Dak were career bests weekly so France would have been an idiot not to want more money after putting up 400 yard passing days.

That would seem like common sense to me. Same thing if Dak was playing horribly. I would expect the offer to come down.

Nah. Not remotely in my feelings. Just strongly disagree with you about him. That Romo / Crayton take is bad, the vast majority of his work is very good.

I don't know Rayman, I've been in the DFW area all my life and have listened to the ticket since day one, as far as loving Jerry they don't fall into that category, they generally tell it like it is. Jub Jub used to tote the flag because he was the PA announcer but as a whole they roast Jerry pretty regular. Sturm is a huge Packer fan who through the years being here has turned into a cowboy fan but he killed Jerry over Garret the last 5 years. Now the Stars is different for Sturm he does have a Stars paycheck coming in.
Just SEEMS JERRY HAS CREATED AN ECHO CHAMBER. Like a fail safe.

35 a year, which is wilson (a SB winning QB) yearly average. Over 110 million guaranteed which is goff (a QB that’s been to the SB) guaranteed money. I think that’s more than fair for a QB that’s yet to make a championship game. And I am a fan of Dak. The last offer was that and a 50 million dollar signing bonus. He accepted and wanted it. Time ran out because france was dragging his feet. Dak had to deal directly with SJ and JJ. His agent has cost him.

He plays for 31 this year. Could have had a check for 50 million and likely made another 5 or 10 in salary this year. But hey france gets his 1 million dollar check for doing nothing.
They didn't offer 35M a year. It was 33 to 35... i.e. 33 with incentives.
And Dak directly disputed that was the actual offer but instead it was the characterization of the offer Stephen Jones leaked directly to Jane Slater.

Goff's AAV: $33,500,000
110M GTD: Goff. 110.042.

It was a Goff-lite offer.
And that wasn't good enough.

also note: the Dallas offer was 70m in cash over first two years.
Dak makes 69M in next two years in cash on tag.

So Dallas beat that by all of 1M and is just that clueless that they consider that a good deal for Dak.

all sides messed up. France needs fired though. They had 1 year plus to get this right. Running out of time is a dumb excuse. Dak stands to lose more money now. LOTS of uncertainty with the cap.

you see real quick who you can have a legit conversation with and then you see someone say" Dak was the laughing stock of the league to fans across the league" you cant be serious ......so im guessing his laughing stock of the league started with his rookie of the year season?

Dak will decide how he feels about the job France has done and no one else's opinion really matters.

Dak isn't losing money.

Dallas initial offer was 28.5M per year. A year later is went to 33M a year.
So France "made" Dak 5M per in a calendar year.
I wouldn't be shocked to see a similar rise by next year after Watson signs.
I'd estimate now Dallas has to go 37 or 38AAV next year.

Or France protected him from a bad deal, earned every cent of his salary and will remain the agent to the stars going forward.

1 of those 2 is accurate.
