They need to expand the rosters then. At least for the first 4 to 6 games.

2 PS games would have been at least enough to evaluate some players.

teams with new coaching staffs will be at even more of a disadvantage as to implementing their philosophies.
MM best be what we want him to be to overcome this.

Alright so here's my thing. I fiend for any football but I also could careless if they play. But what about the fringe players or the guys off the street? So do they get screwed not being able to play in preseason and play for a job? Or how about the guys who are great at camp but when the lights come on in preseason they are dropping passes which we've seen before?

I'm fine either way but it seems like the fringe guys get hurt here. Or hypothetically we have preseason and we have a DE who outperforms Crawford to the point Crawford needs to be cut. To me this benefits the Tyrone Crawford's of the world......

i could not disagree more. No one takes preseason seriously other than the last 4-5 guys battling to make the roster. (Unless this is one of your sarcastic posts)

I don't think this hurts your top guys.Players don't need the preseason. Which is why this was proposed. If it helped the players they'd do it but it doesn't. This does help the fringe guys though who are on the bubble and they are the ones who will suffer IMO.

Yep they should have played at least one, but then again the starters would have required most of that work.

They are going to have to give some sort of leeway on cuts in case teams get seriously infected though.

The sloppiness is definitely going to show, especially when theres a new staff.

Flags on every play. Let every team keep most all of there players and no cuts for the first 3 or 5
games or somethin.
