We have the Nooch for 850,000 a year for the next four years.

We have Dak at 31,000,000 for one year.

So the question is...will there be a big drop off in production from Dak to the Nooch? Because if there isn't a big drop off then Dak isn't worth it, IMO.

Don't know why you'd put the two together. Anae has consistently been highly productive getting into the backfield and Gallimore hasn't.

More likely an edge rusher outside on an island is gonna amount to more sack production vs an interior college DT,
it's a reason why Gallimore was the more highly regarded prospect and projected to go higher than Anea coming into the
draft. And keep in mind that interior DT is always a much harder to acquire impact position than a n edge rusher, thus more demand
for them,..and more of a push for them in the draft.

And make no mistake, scouts and personnel guys are still always caught up in workout measurements - which Gallimore's stand out numbers
in workout drills add to him being drafted higher,..vs Anae's numbers acting to his stock falling and him being drafted lower than expected.

But here's the biggest piece note with why i'm putting the two together - both rookie player really put on a show at the Senior Bowl
-whether in one on one practices or in the all star game itself. that's a big note with me, as you're going up against other heralded, regarded OL as well.

Yeah but that's not what I said. Anae has been consistently productive, Gallimore hasn't. Anae is production. Gallimore is potential. They are nothing alike. If Anae produced like Gallimore he would have gone undrafted.

Ok then! Stockpile those QBs! Whether you’re a fan of Dak or not, there is uncertainty if he’ll be the QB pass this season. If it were any other position, we’d want talent behind an uncertain position’s future. Let’s hope that he’ll develop to a starting QB or better.

Yes, ..Potential, ..workout measurements, ..high demand for DT position. That's why Gallimore was drafted higher than Anae.
and that's not just me, but apparently the Cowboys themselves felt that much higher of Gallimore on their draft value board.
Despite Bradley having the higher sack production numbers, Neville was rated higher on their board.
and i'd suggest tape watch when it comes to collegiate DT sack numbers- could that be a reason why Gallimore slid to 3rd rd vs earlier rounds ?

For decades and every year, NFL scouts and personnel guys always get infatuated pre-draft workout numbers and in their eyes those players' draft stock rises. It happens and will continue to happen.

Anae had both top collegiate sack numbers and an impressive Senior Bowl appearance as well, but scouts look to his average workout
numbers.and dwell too much on limitations at the next level.. and that clearly seems to contributed to his fall in the 5th round.

But again, as far as I myself am concerned - Both of the two players' stand out Senior Bowl performances is the reason why i remain excited
and optimistic about "Both " players we have drafted. Regardless of whom was drafted where. We have both of them now.

The profiles I’ve read say Gallimore consistently creates pressure and can force early throws. Remember, he’s an interior lineman, and as such it’s much harder to get sacks. Gallimore wasn’t drafted as a massive NT/run stuffer, he was drafted for his ability to disrupt plays.

Yeah and he didn't make that many. As a Sooners fan I've watched him and Lamb more than any player in our draft class and Gallimore underachieved in Norman. I'm not expecting anything more than another Maliek Collins.

Please change the thread title to Ben DiNucci signs the Cowboys.

We should have a pic of Jerry at the DiNucci kitchen table signing the contract.
If Jerry handles the second Nooch contract the way he has that of Prescott, some poor horse is going to have to run around with no head.
