Dallas has between 18-20 Hall of Famers depending on if you count some short-timers like T.O. so you are leaving off half with a top 10 and that ignores the 2-3 more that we know are coming in the next four/five years.

He went into the HOF as a bandanna, technically. This ain’t baseball.
But why would he be known more as a Falcon? He made more Pro Bowls as a Cowboy, more All-Pros, and won a Super Bowl as a Cowboy. He also did had his own Sega game, presumably tons more endorsements after winning two Super Bowls, and the notoriety of being the first full time two way player in the NFL in ages... again all as a Cowboy.
Sanders is the first long-time member of the Atlanta Falcons to be elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame. As such, he sent a helmet he wore during his time with the team as well as a game ball he was presented with during the 1990 season. Mementos from Class of 2011 enshrinee Deion Sanders arrived in Canton in June.Jun 13, 2011

Players that are enshrined in the Pro Football Hall of Fame are not enshrined as a member of one team unless they only played with one team in their career. No player bust has a helmet or team logo on it. All teams that they played for are listed.

Emmett absolutely deserves to be #1.

We saw how important he was when he held out the first two games of the 1993 season. Emmett was the driving force behind 3 Lombardi trophies.

But Roger is a close second.

Right, I was confusing that with a retirement team.

How Dexter Coakley didn't make this list is beyond me.

Why ? Those aforementioned guys were Hall of Famers .
.. Dexter was a fine OLB with was a couple of pro bowl invites but he nowhere belong in that creme of the crop group class .

I like my secondary players such as Mel Renfro and Darren Woodson. Not one defensive back made the list.

I'm not sure, but I don't think he was serious.

That list without Bob Hayes and Darren Woodson just seems wrong. o_O

i could consider Bob Hayes because he changed how the game was played and revolutionized from man to zone coverage in the NFL.

Woody is further down the line with me, so is Cliff Harris .. and just think Cliff Harris wasn't on ESPN' list either, and he was recently elected to the Hall of Fame.

You absolutely cannot leave Lilly out. Romo's not close to this list, sorry. Meredith makes the list way before Romo.

Lilly is probably the one i should have included in my top 10 because i had heard how dominant he was in the 60's era.
Supposedly he was even more dominant than the Manster Randy White as a DT.
but aside from Hayes i really prefer going with guys i've seen play in most duration of the their careers.

I can live with you disagreeing with me. I'm not sure what moved you to mention it. It has no bearing on my opinion at all.

Sorry, I was mixing the HoF with the team representation upon retirement. But I don't think he retired a Cowboy either, so I don't think even he considers himself a Cowboy.

Any list that does not have Roger Staubach at number one is just wrong
Ridiculous. I feel Emmitt is and you anyone can make an argument for him being number one. Staubach is not a clear cut number one. He is to some but he's not unanimous. So stop acting like he is.

Swap Lilly and White. And they misspelled Lilly. Morons.

Glad to see some love for Larry. He made the all-decade team for 2 different decades and there was an 8 year span where he was arguably a top 10 player in the entire league. Dude was an absolute freak

For current players I wouldn't be shocked if Zack Martin made the all time top 10 when he's done. He's only completed 1 year of his 2nd contract and he's already 1st team all-decade with 1st or 2nd team all-pro 6x......... (he's a freak too)

Well technically he retired a Raven :p I actually don’t think I’ve ever heard him talk about the subject so I can only assume he just thinks of himself as a guy who played for multiple teams.

If you are a fan of most nfl teams a top 10 is fairly easy
For the Cowboys you really need a top 15

Not an act. Roger Staubach is the greatest player in the history of the Dallas Cowboys
