Dak looks like he is in great shape. Did he lose weight?
I hope Zeke lost weight and get back some of the speed he had.

Body weight and strength have nothing to do with one another. It might have something to do with speed we’re still not sure.

Agreed. Besides that, playing weight or conditioning is not necessarily an optimal thing for the sport. Most players could be in better condition but that might not prove to be beneficial in terms of Football. When you get into a game, you gotta be able to take the hits and sometimes a little more weight on the frame can help a lot. Those hits hurt with nothing extra to help lesson the impact, a lot of times, can hurt more then help. I'll take a player and a staff who understand optimal playing weight over max conditioning every time.

Why would I have to say that I was quoting an article, even if I was, which I was not. There is no rule that says posters must do this. I have no idea how old you are but for many, many years, it was widely discussed that Unitas was the greatest QB in the history of the game. You don't hear that anymore, just like you don't hear Otto Graham discussed as the greatest or many others. Doesn't mean that they may not have been. Also doesn't mean that they are but one thing is certain, the statement has been made in the past and there are certainly those who do give or have given it credence.

You statement about fans is speculation. First of all, you don't know who voted. You don't know the knowledge base, you don't know anything about them. But here is what you do know, the statement has been made in the past, he has been called this and isn't that what your argument is about?

Lastly, it is not my job to let know anything. Go figure it out and understand that there is a lot of life before you ever showed up on the face of the earth. Understand that you aren't that important in the grand scheme of things and that nobody is going to go out of their way to make you understand that you don't know crap about who or what Johnny Unitas was. If you don't agree that John Unitas was the greatest QB of all time, then that's fine, you don't have to. I don't either but that doesn't mean that there are not those who believe that.

Have a great weekend.

Maybe you should read the links you put up before doing so. I'll quote you from it.

Not according to NFL.com's readers. Johnny U won our Bracketology competition as the greatest quarterback of all time,

Maybe you don't remember all of the different things they had fans voting on to be the greats whatever. Every week during the season they have the fans vote for the player of the week.

No you don;'t have to say you're quoting an article but when you don't then people will think it is just your thinking. Most people will say something like I read an article that said this or that and then you either say you agree or disagree with that. By doing like you did led me or anyone who read you original comment that you were saying it.

Now I will concede that in the 60's and early 70's that Unitas could have been said to be the the best QB, I honestly don't remember that but then it's been a lot of years ago like 40-50 years ago. There was a time that Jim Brown was considered the greatest RB ever with some good reason like leading the league in rushing every year but one in his career, but now people talk about Emmitt, Payton and Sanders. Brown still comes up but down the list now.

But to use in today's NFL that Unitas is perhaps the greatest QB of all time when he is not thought as such now is a poor argument. That's like saying that Dorsett was perhaps the greatest RB ever because after his 99 yard run it was called the greatest run from scrimmage ever and stood as the only one until Derrick Henry did it too.

We should just leave this as you think one thing and I think something else. Neither one of use is going to change the other's thinking.

Maybe you should try to pull your head out. The article says this:

A lot of great quarterbacks have entered the NFL since Johnny Unitas retired in 1973. But has any quarterback played well enough to take the mantle of the greatest of all time?

Not according to NFL.com's readers. Johnny U won our Bracketology competition as the greatest quarterback of all time, surprisingly trouncing Joe Montana with 72 percent of the vote in the final.

Are you always this hard to see obvious things. Not according to NFL.com's readers. Johnny U won our Bracketology competition as the greatest quarterback of all time. I'll help you out ONE MORE TIME. What that says and means is fans or readers voted that just like they do every week for the Fedex player of the week. So what you have is fans saying that and as far as that goes, fans opinions on most thing just don't do a lot for me. A lot of users here I respect their opinions and even question them when my opinion isn't the same as theirs, but as far as determining what facts are, fans with zero first hand knowledge of things are not the be all end all authority on anything including me. The only difference with me is I usually take the same stance as the team based on what has been reported with direct quotes by those directly involved with whatever is being reported because they do have first hand knowledge of everything. I take that back there are a couple of fans that have been NFL historians that spend their time researching history of the NFL and do it like it's their job spending many many hours a day researching and I respect those types, but the fans who's experience is what they grab from sitting on their couch don't make my socks roll up and down.

He probably moved the goalposts at some point in this argument, but I'm not going back to read the whole thing. That said, I think his point now is that he doesn't care what the fans' opinions are. His opinion is better.

This is over. You can't even comprehend the obviously simple things and it's also obvious that you don't spend any time on the NFL website or you would know that the fans are the ones that vote on their different categories. Don't bother to reply you're not bright enough to respond to any longer and I'll just ignore you.
