The Football Gods granted us one haul like that...but much better.

Ever since then we've been the fleece-ee time and time again.

Our negotiators probably couldn't even pull that for Zeke.

At this point we could start a thread on which type of flower bulb grows better in an arid environment with little sunlight and you would find a way to make it a negative about Zeke. It looks beyond fan annoyance anymore, you sure it isn't personal?

It's kind of old, predictable, and tired really at this point. IMHO of course.

seriously...

As for Adams, man I am glad we didn't give that much up.
It’s funny to me how much some of you claim to know everything I think about the diva but don’t know the difference between my comments being personal (which of them are) vs my comments on him as a player, where we drafted him and what we paid him which are completely separate from my personal thoughts on him.

The stats I use aren’t bias or personal against zeke, those are the stats he created, not me. I can’t help if they prove he’s over rated by homers and not nearly worth what they think he is. Take that up with zeke, not me. I’d be curious to know why he’s not top 10 in several categories with one of the best O lines in the league.

Let me know what he says after he gets done demanding respect and shopping for purses.

Interesting that Seattle found it ok to give up all those picks for Adams, but dont look to be interested in bringing back Clowney at all.

Extremely interesting to me.
Clowney just isn’t that good. He is wanting way too much money, I don’t blame them.

Even taking way less than he originally wanted isn’t worth it, IMO. He’s not worth it.

Oh well. They gave up the farm to get him. Kinda glad we didn’t do that tbh.

Pretty simple question:

Would you trade:

Leighton Vander Esch LB

CeeDee Lamb WR -

Neville Gallimore. DT

Ha Ha Dix - Safety

For Jamal Adams and pay him 15 million + highest paid safety in the NFL

That is our last 2 1st round picks 3rd and our safety

for me there is no way

At first glance its an overpay of draft and salary cap assets but when you have SB QB...I say go for it every year. No matter what. Dallas is not in that position.

Not really a fair comparison being that Seattle picked 27th and 29th the last two years. Ask their fans if they would trade Jordyn Brooks and Collier for Adams and you will get a different answer.

People want to make fun of the trade but they’re the ones that keep winning, not us. This isn’t nearly as bad as some people make it.

As I said about zeke, he’s very good but no RB is worth that high of a pick. Even you mentioned several other players we could have had and that’s on top of Henry.

LVE...jury is out on him. As I said great first year but the way he played last year and his injury is a legitimate reason for concern.

We definitely got lucky with Lamb, at least I hope so.

Well you said past 4 years......it takes a few years for drafts to materialize. You go back the past 10 years and they have some stellar picks in that 1st round. Better than anyone in the league.

Somewhat true, though hopefully a first round pick doesn’t take years to materialize, they “should” be on the field from game 1.

Plus zeke is already declining, LVE has already been out half a season with a lot to be concerned about, we cut Taco and although Jones was our best defensive player we let him walk.

And to think Steelers just gave up a 1st rounder for minka Fitzpatrick.

But Seattle made a starting QB type trade.
He's a pro bowler but as a safety and his skill set, he's worth that kind of kings ransom.

Not really. They are just trying to replicate the Fitzpatrick effect.

Good player, heck probably the best safety in the NFL, but for that price ahhh yeah ... BIG PASS

Not to mention, they’ll have to pay him eventually on top of that haul.
