I agree on the premature gloating. What has Lock done so far? But I do remember certain individuals wanting to draft Drew Lock on these boards. I just don't remember who they were.

Yeah I'm looking at it now. The OP didn't really say he thought he'd be good he just said he felt like the Cowboys should trade for him as opposed to giving Dak 100 million.

Every I have read since he has been a pro seems to point to him not wanting to put the effort in to be an NFL starting QB.

I live near Buffalo, and what I read about him kind of reminded me about Rob Johnson when he was there

Given the massive value of getting a QB on the cheap, we should have *always* been drafting and developing QBs. Same with RBs, though for different reasons.

We did neither. We didn't even give ourselves a *chance* to hit on a cheap drafted player.

But we *aren't* "stuck with this Dak mess". We should be able to trade him and get something for him. Watching the Hawks give up two firsts for Adams says that there was at least one desperate sucker out there. There are probably more.

Though I'd try to get more for Dak, I'd take a 2nd, save 31.4mil, and call it a day.
