You could literally say that about any good player surrounded by trash.

My god, another "WELL KNOWN MEMEBER" trying to school us little ole members. I'm starting believe that all WELL KNOWNers have their heads buried so far up their....you know whats! I personally believe that once this kid get's paid it's bye-bye time to the skills he has shown SO FAR. He's a ONE MAN BAND that other teams love to hate, he's all about ME. A loud mouth, over achiever who is going to flop big time in Seattle. They're going to expect this kid to put this team on his shoulders because, according to all the WELL KNOWers he's the best thing since slice bread. When this experiment fails they'll run old Pettie and their GM out of town WITH maybe a few WELL KNOWNers to boot! BOOK IT!

If I’m Dallas I’m on the phone with the Jets to try and trade for McDougald.
McD was thrown in more for salary cap reasons, as the Jets wanted the draft picks.
The guy is a real good safety that plays both safety positions very well.

Yeah but if they suck you really don't care about controlling them at low rates. You want them off your team because at some point they don't even become worth it at low rates. Just like Taco.

No team makes decisions on their poor drafting history, this trade is a win now move that greatly affects their future success.

Well then they better win, yes?

They made a similar move a few years about with acquring Jimmy Graham. Not only did they give up a #1 pick, but their pro bowl Center in Max Unger. Their line was never the same and they haven't been in the Super Bowl since. This type of trade could hurt a franchise for several seasons.

CLowney last season as well

lets not see the fails so far it has NOT worked for them..

Im betting some very nice high draft picks could have been more contributors in hindsight then the reaching for stars at high costs

Don't forget the 2nd rounder they spent on safety Marquise Blair in the 2019 draft that will now be just a backup.

Well, now that they don't need him maybe they will trade Blair to the Cowboys for DL Trysten Hill. Blair played 6 games with 25 tackles and 0 interceptions. He'll fit in fine here with the zero interceptions :) just kidding. Can't hurt to throw the trade out there. All they can do is say no.

Here’s a scary thought, the Hawks have been competitive for the past decade with essentially no first round picks and now they got the best safety in the league for what would have historically been a bust or no pick at all.

You guys keep laughing it up, it’s a very good thing we lucked into Lamb, I think we’ll still have the edge because of him. They may have the best secondary in the league right now but luckily they have no edge rushers and won’t be able to use Adams much to blitz due to the addition of Lamb otherwise I would have been very concerned.

Seattle looks pretty dangerous now. I get why they did. There may not be a quality college season which is going to stunt the development of next years draft class or the very least make it more of a crapshoot than normal. 2022 draft is too far off to project the value of any picks. Better to get the sure fire all-pro safety.

I can see what they are thinking, since they expect those 2 first round picks to be below 28 or lower each. They are in a win mode now.

And they made a crazy trade for Percy Harvin, sending a first, 4th, and 7th round picks to the Vikes. Harvin never did crap but mess up their locker room.

Seattle can make some bonehead trades, that’s for sure. If they didn’t have Russell Wilson and Pete Carroll, that thing would have already blown up in their faces.
