Careful. Make too many posts and your title will change to "Well Known Member" as well.
Ha-haaaaa, that was a great reply! Us lesser than WELL KNOWNers need to come up with a new type of title, one that will identify our greatness when we're babbling on about our knowledge of the game and how our posts can affect the way an organization is ran, you know what I mean.........ha-haaa!

I think giving up that much for safety is foolish. Normally you see these types of deals involving QB not safeties. Adams is a good physical safety who they use to blitz yet he is not creating turnovers as we see from some of the best safeties in the league. Hell I would be willing to go a 1st rd pick for him, knowing the team would also have to pay him big but giving up 2 1st, 2 mid round and a player for him? no way

Nothing against adams but i'm not giving up potentially 3 starters or high snap guys for 1 guy unless its an elite QB. It's like I'd trade LVE for him, Maybe LVE and Gallop, but Martin, LVE, Gallop is too much. But that's from out perspective who I think we draft much better than the seahawks. They are better at trading for talent than they are in drafting it.

I agree. I would think if giving a #1 but even that would be tough. The guy plays in the box, he is a good rusher and plays tough at the line of scrimmage. He does not create turnovers, this is not a Earl Thomas or Berry. To give up a total of 5 players for 1? he better be a QB because there are very few position players I would give up that many players for 1

LOL, now you put it that way the Jets just bamboozled the hawks but still not like our blockbuster trade with HW to the vikes.

I can get behind 1 #1pick. It's still tough as he wants a big payday so very similar to cooper you should be willing to extend him or be ok with only 2 cheap years before he leaves in FA. I think they got a bit scarred cause of san fran building such a good defense and they overpaid by alot. They had better win a SB soon.

This same real coach lost a game to those same Seahawks after what was it, 4 or 3 first half interceptions to Wilson in the playoffs. Not what I would call a masterpiece of coaching by any stretch.

Had a 15-1 squad with home field through out fold to those pesky opportunistic Giants.

I mean, no offense personally but I just don't get the love affair with this new staff because to me it resembles looking at the same thing Dallas has suffered from as a team.
Defensive collapses in the playoffs.

Blame it all on Capers or his successor or whatever. McCarthy's playoff defenses sucked historically except for the lone championship run. I guess one run is more than Garrett could muster but I would caution the entire fan base to temper the defensive expectations to something resembling what they've already seen.

Just too many games as supporting evidence to ignore.

It's a fair argument to make about MM's Defenses. I do remember that playoff game against the Giants, for some reason Rodgers came out very flat and the Giants got a hail mary TD before half-time. Still no excuse, but the Giants did go on to win the Super Bowl.

The Seattle loss had a a lot of freak plays happen to them, crazy 2 pt conversion and an onside recovery.

MM might not be the best coach in the league, but he is certainly an upgrade over Jason Garrett.

Yeah, as a I said, I think the addition of Lamb will be a game changer, someone will almost always be open. I’m not sure even JG could screw it up.

Some rookie, WR's take time to make an impact, I think we all need to have realistic expectations regarding Lamb. We all hope by season's end, he is the better player than Randall Cobb with potential to be much much more in the coming years.

I think the Walker trade was the dumbest trade of all time at least on Minn end of it. I like Adams and I would willing to give up a 1st rd pick, I sure as hell will not give up multiple picks for 1 player unless that player is a highly touted QB. Adams is an in the box safety playing up at the line, he is tough and active along the line. I don't see him creating turnovers, he is a quality player but not worth the price that Seahawks gave. To top it off he will be looking for big money next season and seahawk put themselves in a box in terms of paying him what he wants, after all they already gave up the picks, to walk away after a season would be a disaster

I normally have a more pessimistic outlook on things, especially the Cowboys, but I have a good feeling about him. If anything just his presence should open things up a lot for the other receivers and RB.

And seahawks pretty much put in a position they have to pay up next year, who makes a deal and give up those picks then walk away from it? Talk about leverage Adams has it in spades

Agree, 1 first and I may be down for that but 2 and a 3, will pass for sure now.

I think he will have a similar type of rookie season like Dez, who had about 600 yards and 6 TD's, along with some impact as a punt returner.

I have to assume they are aware he wants to be the highest paid safety so as long as his play doesn't drop off they are good with it.

Prolly gonna release some more DL's, just like they did last time, and it'll result in a dropoff.

Mahalo Danno.
My buddies & I were actually in 4 or 5 of those old Hawaii 5-0 shows. Not as actors, just kids riding our bikes in the background.

It used to always crack us up how they'd make a right turn & be on the complete other side of the island.

I'm sure they are they gave up a total of 5 players for 1. Was it smart? I don't think so. He is a safety not a QB and it is insane to give up top picks for a safety. He is an in the box safety and no matter how good you may think he is a safety is not worth 2 1st, 2 mid and a vet player.

True. But this time around, their DL Is already mediocre unlike the the powerhouse they had in the early/mid 2010s.
