gave up the farm for a great BOX SAFETY that has SOME cover skills, and whines and gets his way when he isn't happy. Enjoy that Seattle. Seattle needed to fix the dline and linebacking group...failed miserably in the draft and free agency. In fact, the reason they gave away the farm on Adams is because of JUST THAT! They haven't drafted worth a BLEEP in several years and THEY KNOW IT. This was a clear act of desperation...throwing stuff against the wall and tons of resources to see if it works. Its kin to fixing a flat tire on the front of your car, when both back tires are the ones that are actually flat! lol...on one hand, I admire the "all in" mindset of the front office in Seattle, on the other, its foolish and been proven as of late, that you dont fix problems on a team by desperate moves...ie The Rams current state of affairs. Look at the cautionary tale of the Rams front office woes. We don't have to like Stephen Jones OR JERRY...(I DON'T), but we must admit this non-move, was correct. Could we just imagine hamstringing MM even more in the coming years if we traded away all that ammo pertaining to draft choices and players that the Seahawks just gave up? Watch what that move does to Seattle this year and the next 3. Even if Adams is a generational talent at safety, that won't matter if Russ Wilson has a crappy oline and it hasnt been fixed. Won't matter if the dline is mediocre and the linebacking corp is suspect. I can't even tell ya who their dbs are lol...other than Adams. This team will go how the oline and Russ Wilson goes. PERIOD. Not Adams. I am proud of the front office in Dallas for standing their ground on this. One final caveat, we need to start valuing the safety position more in the next draft . I do realize we havent had a top safety in like 15 years lol..I value it, but dont think giving up the farm is the way to go. Sorry for my lengthy post.
