Randy White is my all time favorite Cowboy. Maybe because we played the same position, maybe because I used to take a pinch between my cheek and gums, maybe because he was just cool dude. Who's your favorite and why?

For me it's a tie between Harvey Martin and Cubby, both played way over their talent and for the most part showed up when you needed it most...My first Cowboys Merch was the Martin shirt that had his picture with " I rackem and sackem"

I think most who watched the Cowboys in the 1970's and were old enough to understand the game would pick Roger, and I personally would as well, but the "Manster" isn't a bad choice by any means, and if that's who stands out to you as your favorite, who is anyone else to tell you different? I loved watching him play.

I got to know him a few years ago. He held three camps for me. He did not disappoint. Always great when your idol meets your expectations. Never met Roget, but I know he would do the same.

I loved the year he was missing from training camp and nobody could find him, and later we found he was spending his time bass fishing at one of the area lakes. As I recall, he didn't really intend it as a "hold out", he just wanted a little more off season to fish.

Funny thing is I would probably be ticked off at any other player doing the same, but it just seemed to fit his personality so well, and he was so dominant anyway, I was willing to overlook it and get a laugh from it.

I don't think it's a secret that Walt Garrison is my favorite. Met him at a rodeo in 71. He was a great guy. Gave me some rodeo tips and a dip of Skoal. Sorry, Walt. Copenhagen is better.
He doesn't pass Roger for me, but Walt was one of my early favorites from when I started watching the Cowboys regularly about 50 years ago. Nobody played harder or was tougher.

Randy is great guy I sold him several Raptors when i ran the ford store in Frisco, Just a down to earth guy who likes to talk about regular life. Not kidding we gave the Garrett family there Demo expeditions both he and his brother.....never met them but their wives and kids would completely trash the demos...now that's not saying the Garretts are bad people just an observation.

Erik Williams.............Was the most talented and meanest offensive lineman in NFL history that I ever saw.........................He's the only individual I ever saw not only handle , but dominate Reggie White..................

Bob Lilly
Loved him as a player and got a chance to meet him after he retired. He let me try on his ring which was cool. It was a little big on my thumb but still very cool. He was such an engaging guy who spent an hour telling us stories. I had a letter from roger staubach and I always wondered if he had actually wrote it himself, so I took it and showed it too Lilly and he told me stories of Roger writing kids all the time. When I was a kid I wrote letters to a bunch of players and a few sent back autographed pictures but the one from Roger was hand written so it’s pretty special
Roger and Walt would be next in order on my list

I loved watching Tony Dorsett run with the football. I also loved Staubach's competitiveness. Watching Larry Allen in his prime was enjoyable too. But nothing made me happier than watching Erik Williams stone Reggie White when he was with the Packers. Listening to Packers fans whine after the game was such an uplifting experience.

Williams and Gogan where fun to watch it literally made them mad if you touched the QB, Williams may have been the best all time at his peak.
