CowboysZone ULTIMATE Fan
Tony Romo

From his playing-style to keeping us relevant despite having a horrible coach and GM
We've stayed just as relevant the last 4 years with the same horrible coach and GM, but don't you have an intense dislike of Dak?

Romo.

His ascension coincided with when I started to REALLY get invested in the team and the rivalries. I was a fan in the early 90s but of course I was when they were awesome. Felt like sticking with them through the downturn is when I warned my stripes, and I have a soft spot for underdogs

Bob Lilly
Loved him as a player and got a chance to meet him after he retired. He let me try on his ring which was cool. It was a little big on my thumb but still very cool. He was such an engaging guy who spent an hour telling us stories. I had a letter from roger staubach and I always wondered if he had actually wrote it himself, so I took it and showed it too Lilly and he told me stories of Roger writing kids all the time. When I was a kid I wrote letters to a bunch of players and a few sent back autographed pictures but the one from Roger was hand written so it’s pretty special
Roger and Walt would be next in order on my list

that’s really awesome

Emmitt

Currently LVE...

To be honest I’m not a big fan of any of these guys on this current Cowboys roster.

:bow:ED TOO TALL JONES:bow:
as a kid he looked like he was 12ft tall...specially when he'd try to knock down passes.
played with lots'a heart...tough as nails...especially against the run.
he was just a tremendous ball player.
then in '86...another hero for me emerged...
:bow:HERSCHEL WALKER:bow:
strong as a bull...fast as lightn'n...he was like a superhero in cleats.
both good guys...super nice.

so many GREAT players.
maybe the real answer is...
:starspin:ALL OF'M:starspin:

Imagine comparing the last 4 years rosters to the ones Romo had from 11-13

Oh yea and Garrett called the plays[/QUOTE

So as an OC he was jacking the team up worse than he did as an HC? Romo had Talent around him and played very good.... this is the most unfounded argument i have ever seen "Garret hurt Romo but Dak well no i don't give him any credit" surly you can see your bias in that?

Michael Irving, He was a great player, especially in the clutch and I loved his animated style on the sidelines which said" we're not losing this one" Also him and Emmitt Smith with the "back to back" after winning their second Super Bowl in a row.

Randy White is my all time favorite Cowboy. Maybe because we played the same position, maybe because I used to take a pinch between my cheek and gums, maybe because he was just cool dude. Who's your favorite and why?

@CowboyFrog Dude what are you talking about?

Garrett was a horrible play-caller. Jerry had to finally strip that fool of his play-calling duties and Linehan was brought in.

And miss me with the Romo had good teams nonsense. Im talking about the years 2011-2013 specifically.
