Between 2014 and 2018, Crawford missed a total of 6 games and played in 79 (playoffs included)

I love idea of cutting Crawford for Griffin but until that happens one or more of of the other guys needs to step up before I would cut him. Tomsula should have plenty of eager proteges to work with.

I'll be rooting for them.

I do think he is overpaid, but I kind of wonder if he had an impact on our run defense last season. In 2018 the defense was legit and I wonder with him being out did and Quinn being in , did that have a negative impact. Ideally I'd figure youd want Crawford on the edge for Run downs and then bring in Quinn to do the one thing he does best. But instead Quinn just rushed the passer even on run downs. Btw , I'm no fan of Crawford or Quinn, just wondering.

Take a look at the player lined up at RDE on that play. See if he ‘helped in run defense’.

Okay, I'll just assume it's probably a link showing Ty Craw missing his assignment or something. If so I don't need to see that I'll believe you. If you read my post before you would've seen that I am NOT a fan of Crawford. I do think he is overpaid, but just wondering if his lack of play in some way hurt the cowboys in the run game. If you don't think so, cool. I'm not even saying I'm disagreeing with you, so not sure where the willfull ignorance comes in especially if I'm not a fan of a guy you probably don't like. Remember again, I am not fan of Crawford or Quinn. And I wouldn't have paid either.
