So Lamar Jackson is the best player in the league? This sort of crap is why the sports media has little credibility.

Being a unanimous league MVP will do that for you, you know? Only Tom Brady has ever been a unanimous selection. Ever.

not a single olineman in the top 25?
This kind of ranking is biased in that voters tend to go with players at the positions that are most easily seen watching a game. Few people watch games with a focus on watching O-Linemen every play, so even great O-Linement don't jump to mind when voters cast their ballots.

No doubt.

Tyron peaked at # 18, but an Olineman in the top 25 is unusual.

Foles did exactly the same & wasn't even top 100 the year after winning the SB (2018) but yet Wentz was 3rd for taking his team 13-3 in the regular season. Ridiculous list/rankings.
Mahomes should be 1.
On quarterback's top 25 yes. Different positions no.
Mahomes is was he best player in the league.
So was Foles when he won the SB & MVP.
FIFY. Key word for both....was. I just don't foresee a back-to-back for kid.

Kind of frustrating that TJ Watt is there at #25 when he was ripe for the taking in the draft and the Jones boys took Taco Charlton instead.

You should hydrate because Mahomes will dominate for the next decade.

Not a single personnel guy in the league would pick him over Mahomes.

Says you. How many personnel guys did you hear that from personally over lunch? League MVP means best player in the league for that season. If Mahommes was so great, why didn't he win MVP then? In fact Jackson's stats actually rivaled Mahommes' through the air last year PLUS he was a 1,200 yard rusher which was better than the vast majority of running backs and about 1,000 more than Mahommes. For 2019, Jackson was superior. Not close. Mahommes' team won it all. Give Jackson the same team and he doesn't have to do as much as he did which would arguably make him even more effective than he was. Ask Romo, circa 2014.

When the NFL changes, you also have to change how you evaluate talent. The majority of you "yore of yesteryear" dropback-passer-only fans said Russell Wilson would be a flash in the pan as a "running QB" too. Tell me how many personnel guys would like to have him instead of who they have.

Typical hyperbolic response. Calm down little fella. This is an opinion forum.

Yawn. And you can support yours? You truly are one of the most annoying guys on this Forum. A know it all computer commando. Congratulations.

If posting facts did that to you, it's just proof you got busted trying to inject a random parameter to artificially boost your opinion as somehow more valid. The numbers show it wasn't. I guess I'd find that annoying too if I had to try such garbage and would likewise try to find a graceful, "I'm incredulous" exit to the discussion.

Where did Zack Martin wind up?
Martin made 1st team all-pro (6th straight year of making all-pro team) along with 1st team all-decade for the 2010s team and they put him all the way at #55........ (lol).

Interior o-line is brutal for accolades. Alan Faneca for example is superbowl champ, 1st team all-decade, 1st or 2nd team all-pro 8x and he still hasn't gotten in HOF on 5 different attempts

Luckily for Martin he'll probably finsh with double digit pro bowls, near double digit all-pros, and potentially be on the all decade team for 2 different decades (his accolades will be so high that they have to put him in even if they hate his position).

Being on the highly-visible Dallas Cowboys will help too (not that he'll need it). Not according to some though, lol.
