"I can be treated like a champion without ever having won anything. I can rack up all kinds of stats against a weak division and my overall numbers will look ok. The owner of the team still tells me how great I am even when I decide to take road games off. Why be anywhere else where I may actually have to be accountable for my performance?"

Who is treating him like a champion?

What has he done to indicate he takes road games off? Provide an example besides statistics.

What exactly do you want him held accountable for?

"Great game tonight, the Chicago Butkusers versus the Los Angleos Faulkers. We anticipate a lot of exciting action. We expect to see a lot of turnovers. Last week the Faulkers really took it to the Mooners"

As a California resident, I full expect to see the Los Angeles Roadragers play the San Francisco Assless Leather Chaps.

Lol, yet you would probably be first in line to complain that Jerrah let such a talent go to a division rival.

In an age where most professional football players don’t say anything about loving where they play and only care about dollar signs... it is more than commendable that Cooper says he loves playing for the Cowboys.

And not only is he saying it now that he signed his big deal (many do that after the fact) - but he said it before and during his time as an unsigned free agent on the open market - something his agent probably didn’t love. Oh, and his agent is Todd France, BTW.

Then he turned down more money to stay where he said he wanted to be.

Teams could use more players like Cooper. Talented. Hard working. Non-diva. Turned down more money to play in Dallas.

He re-signed because the Red Clapper is no longer here to spit on his cleats and trying to high five him when the team is losing by 3 scores.

Well he disnt say anything about Gallup, zeke the HC tank or anybody else sooooooo, what's your point

Oh yeah, because those guys get him the ball, and the HC just came on board.

You are trying to defend your man, I get it.

He also didn’t say anything about anyone else.

Why would he? They don't get him the ball.

Had he said something about Dak, and only Dak you Dak fans wouldn't acknowledge that he said 0 about anyone else. Instead you would all pound your chest and say "see Dak is a great QB"

Facts are, Cooper said nothing, HC never bothered to call and the cowboys did nothing, except tag him.

You think that's his point of view, and he'd rather have that than more money playing somewhere else?o_O

Sorry if you feel like it's my fault that the guy didnt seem to care that he was on the sidelines on the play with the season on the line.

Tell me this guy wants to win with a passion and I'll tell you how wrong you are.

How can a person that is wrong tell someone else they are wrong? I am sure you will have a spin on it though, even though it will be wrong.
But it is your wrong opinion. :muttley:

You have to name the teams after one of their Hall of Famers:

Los Angelos Faulkers (Marshal Faulk)

New York Huffers (Sam Huff)

Chicago Butkusers (Dick Butkus)

Dallas Lillys (Bob Lilly)

Tampa Bay Sappers (Warren Sapp)

Detroit Karrasers (Alex Karras)

Philadelphia Whites (Reggie White)

San Fransisco Titlers (Y. A. Tittle)

Tony: "The Faulkers were ablle to go deep all night long om the Mooners."

Jim: " Not only that, the Faulkers really put some pressure on the Mooners impressive tight ends. "

Tony: " Well, everyone in the stadium knew that's what they had to do if they had any chance of coming from behind. "

Jim: "So, the Faulkers were able to give the Mooners a real pounding with their ability to consistantly go long, something the Mooners obviously won't have to worry about with their next opponent..... the Philadelphia Whites.... back to our guys at the station... "

Well, then we are the most hated team by their own fans then. At least on this forum.
IDK, I bet the Eagles have us beat in that department. In fact, I don't know if we were ever the most hated team by other fans, when you add Philly into the equation.

That’s possible but to be fair the cowboys right now have a group of unlikeable players.

it can be just a sign of the times but I’ve been a fan since early 70’s and I cant remember a more unlikeable roster or maybe it’s just me being a grumpy ole fart

Trust me, the Cowboys are still the most loved and the most hated. When it comes to all NFL fans in regards to the Cowboys, one thing you seldom find is indifference.

I'm in your corner, his body language bothered me a lot. He seemed indifferent at times in my opinion.

That's not hate at all, it's you giving your opinion on what you saw, and I agree.
