Oh yeah, because those guys get him the ball, and the HC just came on board.

You are trying to defend your man, I get it.

He didn't mention Jerry who pays him, nor his mother who gave birth to him, nor his mailman. He wasn't accepting an award, so what does it matter if he didn't specifically mention Dak? Especially when the question wasn't even specifically about Dak.

The guy shows some class and professionalism, and God forbid some LOYALTY, and getting some hate.
well said. Not to mention is a tough sob. Do people understand how injured he was last year? The dude was playing thru lots of physical issues. I keep hearing he took plays off. That is complete nonsense.he was gimpy and the team guy he is, he went out there anyway. He went all out til he just couldnt. Many times he was just a decoy. He leads by example and is non vocal. Thats ok.

I think he will also get most of his money sooner with The Cowboys.

Our fans are the most hated because theres too many of them that come out of nowhere when the team does well.

That applies to nearly no one around here. Possibly everyone.

"IF" our fans are the most hated as you say, maybe it's because some of our fans are so busy hating our own players.

Yeah, but what lens is this one?

the lens of fact

I would argue that most top players we have had in the last 20 years (with a couple of exceptions like Witten and Ware) have signed here for exactly those reasons

Hey, if I'm a WR and I want to go back to a team, and I love my QB. I'm shouting him out.

Who is treating him like a champion?

What has he done to indicate he takes road games off? Provide an example besides statistics.

What exactly do you want him held accountable for?
If you havent noticed Jerry's coddling of players as a management style then I dont know what to tell you.

You also want an example BESIDES statistics?

Think about that for a minute.

Lol, yet you would probably be first in line to complain that Jerrah let such a talent go to a division rival.
No, I didnt want to resign him regardless.

Turns out I was right, and this team would be way better off with that money spent on defense, but that's hindsight. I understand why they did it.

How can a person that is wrong tell someone else they are wrong? I am sure you will have a spin on it though, even though it will be wrong.
But it is your wrong opinion. :muttley:
Well thats you.

Feeling a certain way on something is the entitlement of everyone. The very nature of the existence of this forum is to express that.

You on the other hand simply want to insult and berate people unless they agree with your take.

Telling someone their opinion is wrong is as wrong as it gets, although I'm sure you disagree on that also.

Let me help you....ita called agree to disagree.

I'll paraphrase @risenstar from some time ago regarding Cooper....

Those injuries that happen only on the road are tough.

That's not truth. That's you projecting.

Actually, he is pretty accurate. It is truth that Cooper does disappear in road games - check the stats for the facts - and sometimes in big games. He had zero yards and zero catches against the Patriots for example. The rest of what he said is indisputable; the Cowboys and their players get this aura of champions even though they never win anything. The biggest evidence of this is the Cowboys are the most valuable franchise on the planet while not winning a championship in more than 2 decades. And Jerry never fawns over and overvalues his players, right ?

I guess everything can be denigrated through a certain lens.

Edit: Not dogging you. I get where you're coming from, but this team's fans can make anything look bad, or ugly.

Perspective is reality. Sadly some folks have a very negative perspective. Coop expresses his commitment to being here = the team has no accountability. Imagine what they'd say if he didn't want to be here.

Ok, let me get this straight...

Just because YOU would shout your qb out, after every question pertaining to him or not, no matter the situation. Means that if someone else doesn't do that, they secretly think the qb sucks? Ok... that doesn't sound unreasonable at all lol...

I'm not at all negative. I dont appreciate Jerry and his insistence on running football ops, and I say so.

Every team has some sort of rough situation. I dont dwell on the ones in Dallas. I chose to be optimistic overall.

All respect, and I do value your opinion, but some things are being taken out of context and combined.

Briefly, I dont care for Jerry's coddling style w the players, and this is a perfect situation for Cooper and his personality the way I see it.

That's all I meant.

"I can be treated like a champion without ever having won anything. I can rack up all kinds of stats against a weak division and my overall numbers will look ok. The owner of the team still tells me how great I am even when I decide to take road games off. Why be anywhere else where I may actually have to be accountable for my performance?"

So what do you want? Players to leave the team, Damn go pull for someone else this is pathetic. Is there anyone on this team you care for at all? any coaches? Jerry is going no where so you plan on spending your time pulling for a team you despise? Makes no sense. Players says he stayed because he loves being here and you make it out to be something bad?

I've explained in other posts that my opinion is that Jerry's coddling style etc is perfect for Cooper the way he sees it.

Again, my OPINION.

People around here need to stop telling people to go root for other teams for stating their opinion.

That cant be good for business on an opinion forum.

Cooper played with injuries all season long dating back to camp yet still managed over 1,000 yards 8 TD on the season, there was no coddling of Cooper. Yeah it is how you see it yet all of your post are nothing more than what one would see at a Philly site. I ask is there any player on this team you even like? how about coaches? I'm curious because all I see in your post is a complete disdain for this team
