Agreed...kind of hated how they did that part.

On a side note, that guy did a killer job playing Kemper in the Mindhunter show.

Definitely. He was also very good playing Richard Jewel in Manhunt: Deadly Games.

Well I binged season 2 of Umbrella Academy. I like it a lot. I hope they get a third.
It would be a crime if they did not have a third season. A new season is set up really well, even better than first season's conclusion for this season in my opinion.

I love when a show can do time travel and paradoxes well. Where will the show take Ben now? I cannot wait to find out lol.

I think the Ben they knew is gone for good, but maybe they'll end up adopting the alternate reality Ben.

Maybe but I am expanding upon the numerous advantages that a science fiction series like this can evolve any of its characters. Previously, Ben has been meek, mild and dead. This cliffhanger gives the audience a sneak peak of a possible radically different Ben.

The Umbrella Academy
has a certain Dr. Who vibe that I am liking a lot! So far, the series has demonstrated well how it can re-imagine what both its central and newly introduced characters can be in different storylines. That aspect can give the show a great deal of creative innovation.

Finished the 3rd season of "Ozark" and I have two observations. One, that might be the worst acting ensemble I've seen on a streaming series yet and the writing is pretty sophomoric and two, I know that's the ugliest female cast I've seen anywhere.

I forced myself to finish this because of the time invested and I want to see everyone die, the world will be a better place without them in it. There's only one "righteous" character on the show, the female FBI agent and she's pregnant and I want her shot in the face.

This only confirms that watching shows without any redeemable characters makes the audience just as bad. I empathize with the drug cartel leader because he has to deal with so many bad actors while he masters throwing his cellphone down and glaring at it.

I just finished the first season of Dark. I don’t have a ton of TV time usually but I thought I’d give it a go being home so much more.

Damn, a TV show hasn’t captivated me like this since Breaking Bad. What a phenomenally well done thriller.

I’d recommend it to whoever has Netflix. One of the better thriller/mystery/sci-fis I’ve ever seen. I tried it with the English dubs first, but the original German with captions is a lot better.

Wish I would have watched it sooner.

When I'm watching TV, I'm usually on my computer as well, so captions don't work well for me.

You don't need the captions. Go to the part where you can play/start the first episode and scroll down to settings or audio options instead, go forward and click english audio, sound will be in english. Ya when you watch it, it will seem odd, but after a episode or two you will get use to it. Try again it will be worth it. Great show.

I know. I couldn't stand the dubbing. Maybe I'll give it another chance, once I have electricity again.

Amazon Prime - Making Time - Not great not bad, i'd say 3 stars out of 5. Worth the watch if you can't find anything better.

Netflix - Community - just started watching it, pretty funny so far.
I finished it a couple of weeks ago. It is great mindless absurdity late at night with some really funny setups. They lose some actors along the way so enjoy that cast in the first couple of seasons.

I had never heard of it and was told it was a transfer to Netflix from commercial TV.

One of my favorite things about it is how they close the show at the end of each episode, and how it usually has nothing to do with the theme of that episode.

I'm up to the finale of season 1. The time travel premise is believable with some pretty crazy and unexpected events. Really nice job layering the timeline and the characters. It's very well done. I've been watching with the over dub, but season 2 maybe I'll switch to the German version with the subtitles. See how that goes? But it's a very cool show either way.
