They make a big deal out of a player expecting the 3 receivers on the team to average 187 yards per game as a group...

I think it's doable and I don't think the run-pass percentage needs to be tilted all that much, these guys all have the unique ability to gain yards after contact/catch. Which at the end of a season could be as much as 200-300 yards.

The point that jumped out at me was..

it was said that in the concept of trying to figure out if Dak is the answer at QB and deserving of a top 3 deal..

first paying the $56 mil to Zeke and playing the running game as the identity of the team is way less of a risk than paying all that money to Dak only to find out that we way over paid Dak and that he is not capable of leading the team to a SB championship.

This was an interesting point I had not previously considered.

That's why I like posting this stuff for everybody. I like the 'outside the box' observations. Others may as well.

Exactly, we could have had three 1000 yard receivers last year if there weren't a few flags.

Why would he be heated? Didn't we actually come pretty close to that last year with Cobb? Outside of Lamb being a rookie (which granted is a solid point against it) why would there be anything to be "heated" about from that?

If Dallas has 3 wide receivers with 1000 or more yards and Zeke gets 1,500 yards rushing I can see us going 8-8 with this defense.

yes that was 2011. Romo played a month with a punctured lung. You will have to excuse a few yards short for witten and dez.

also the point was that third guy getting a 1000 yards is not going to be the difference between 8-8 and a champhionship.
