Of course they do! When they cite an "unnamed source close to the team", THAT'S ME!

Yeah I wouldn't say this site has realistic debates at all. Its always extremes. I just sort of assumed this is what you get in a environment where people are keyboard warriors and are posting anonymous.
Actually, there are some good debates, but I've noticed you're generally busy w/ the trolls!!!!!

I'm sure they do. Jamey Newberg used to have a Rangers baseball board and some of the beat writers would post occasionally, which tells you they all read it. It probably had less traffic than this site. When ARod was traded, TR Sullivan wrote an article about fan reaction quoting me and other posters but without using usernames.

There were also players and agents who read the old DMN board, I don't know what other Cowboy boards are out there but I'm sure a lot of people read all of them.

We've had a player's father post here before, but his son getting cut plus how disrespectful people were to him, he deleted his account (or just stopped being active)

O they def here but dont have the heart to come out. Tbh its pretty shameful they use the boards material and members material and give no credit to either for monetary gains. They are grown men scared of the interwebz lol

I know for a fact that Skip Bayless does. Most of his Dak commentary is regurgitation from this board.

I work with a Raven fan and show him some of the videos of plays dissected here and discussions and my friend said he wished Ravens' fans had a site as good as this. If there is a better site for discussing Cowboys in general and specific players and plays, I haven't found it. So, I would think most in the media come here for free ideas and tips.

I remember that it was Rob Petitti‘s father. On the old FWST board Brandon Noble posted.

Broaddis had an account on here years ago I believe. but he got so much grief he stopped.

Bob Sturm posted as well, mostly his analytics but not his opinions as a regular poster. I think he too was ran off because of all the usual negativity. Not that he is a fan. But just was tiring. Also he posted in another place, but doesn’t anymore. So it could be that he is just too busy. Plus it is on his own site. Maybe he wants people to see it there. To get ads clicked on. Can’t blame him.
didnt his day job require he not post opinions out side of DMN?

that's very interesting to know, .thanks for sharing.

here's another important key about not only this Cowboys football forum board but Cowboys fans themselves.
Since the Cowboys have always been the most popular and attention getter of all NFL teams, other NFL fans
whether they like ,,or despise the Cowboys, are gonna wanna take a browse of what cowboys discussions are
going on, ,.and to see just how knowledgeable actual Cowboys fans are when it comes to knowing football.

if 'views " numbers are creditable per every Cowboys boards, those outsiders will get a feel for what board is the most active and
busiest traffic, and whether they would admit it or not if they'll come away impressed enough to feel compelled to repeat return
while that board also becomes word of mouth.

i am certain that whatever flies around tweeter generated what they read thru a particular forum board, and it takes on a
new wave from there.
i've already seen a few instances of media visitors, but there's no telling if some of those visitors come anoymously come under '
different usernames.
Unlike the 105.3 fan radio guys that will name out BTB, as a 'source' site, Mike Fisher wont particularly name a site or board, but prefers
to go by what he reads and gets a reaction from fans as " Cowboys Nation "

They'd be foolish not to check in on popular fan sites to check the pulse of people that are willing to spend time discussing the team, that's the P1 participant that would be a likely listener or viewer of their shows. That's just basic research.

When I lived in Dallas, I know some of the local sports talk shows checked in on DC.com and probably the Zone, but I was not on here then, as well because I would see comments made that were straight from discussions I was seeing. At times, they were verbatim.
I think they did years ago but with Twitter and FB dominating social media these forums have been reduced in stature with the exception of Bloggintheboys which has actual writers.

Lol No. Twitter ended anyone of any importantance visiting individual forums. If they do visit anywhere, it would be on Reddit. This forum is toxic anyways.
