tim tebow won against good teams...
eli manning won against good teams...
One of these things is not like the other.

*Spoiler alert, Eli will be in the HOF and beat Brady twice for 2 SB wins.

.500 is the only stat that matters last year, the garbage time numbers do not matter. Keep telling yourself Dak is great with all those garbage dump stats. How did you enjoy those great stats he had in the playoffs last year? Sad Dak groupie still angry he didn’t get that long term deal you guarantied . Stop being so pathetic it might still happen.
8-8

Interesting I don't remember them ever playing a down against each other....I remember their TEAMS playing against each other but that is it.

Wins are a team stat after all and the chief reason to me why Eli has no business in the HoF.

Subtract the 2-6 record last year and he was 11-11...... you do the percentage

omg...one of the most hilarious posts I’ve seen yet. hey, if you can do that can I do this: Subtract the 11-11 record before last year and he was 2-6...you do the percentage...

so maybe there shouldn’t even be a HOF since it’s a team game, why praise individual statistics and accomplishments since none of is truly possible individually?

This team should win 4-5 games just by playing our division rivals Twice a year. So what's the excuse gonna be if they miss the playoffs again?? McCarthy??

You want pathetic? Five of our eight wins last year were division wins. The other 3, Rams, Lions, and Dolphins. We beat all trash. I'm going to try and forget last season.

Players can be better than others, but wins and losses are a team statistic. Terry Bradshaw is not a top 25 all time great QB, but Dan Marino is because players can be better than others, but wins are a team stat and wins and losses happen due to teams.

I don't recall a single play in which Dak and any of these other quarterbacks were on the field at the same time, competing against each other.

However, during Dak's four seasons in the NFL,

Cowboys 1-1 against Payton and the Saints
5-3 against Pederson and the Eagles
1-2 against McCarthy and the Packers, when you include the playoff game.

Dak, Jason, and the Cowboys were a combined 7-6 against these three teams......placing them 7th among the remaining 29 teams when playing against these coaches during that period of time.

Now, what were we discussing?

The stats are garbage. Overall team talent drives these stats, not quarterbacks. I posted a statistic that Sanchez was 11-18 against winning teams while with the Jets. He was actually 10-9 his first two years. He was 1-9 his last two years. He was never as good as his first two years and never as bad as his last two. Overall team talent drives these statistics.

These days a quarterback doesn't even need to play to have....

in all honesty, the Saints had no biz beating Manning for Brees only ring either...
Trent Dilfer has a ring too. Eli Manning has two. Wentz didn’t even play in the post season to get his...

Ok, what's the catch? This is NOT what we've been told ...........

BTW......this is with Garrett as his coach vs MM, Petersen, and Payton

record doesn't mean jack. Keep reaching

Don't need our offense to look so miserable for 3 quarters the stadium is silent when we're on the field because Dak can't hit a receiver if he was size of a barn. Then he finally hits a guy in stride in the 4th and OMG clutch!!!!

I'll hear the excuse of the defense and special teams in a 13-10 loss or in any other game it's all the defenses fault, yet we score 0 points in the third quarter while being down multiple scores at half and it's like "are we going to excuse Dak and the offense again?"
This is the truth that these Dak lovers just dont want to hear.

Last season, the Cowboys went 8-8 while Prescott threw 30 touchdowns to 11 interceptions.

However, 22 of those TDs, and just 3 of those INTs, came against teams that missed the postseason. Prescott led the team to a 7-2 record in such contests. However, when facing teams that made the playoffs, the Cowboys went a miserable 1-6, and Prescott tossed 8 scores and 8 picks.

If your babble was true about Prescott not being able to hit a receiver the size of a barn, he would have had the 4th best completion percentage of all starting QB last season. And then on average the Cowboys were ranked 6th on scoring in the 3rd quarter so that means there were 26 other teams that didn't score as many as the Cowboys. You've TRIED to take what happened in 2 games and say that was how it was all year. Oh my, see what happens when you exaggerate things. I've said this before, I don't think Prescott is the best QB in the league, but he's far better than the haters try to paint him.

the win/loss record doesn't tell a story of individual performance.

You and the OP are being disingenuous

Why because we don't let hatred blind us to a multitude of other things that have played major roles in the Cowboys record beside just Prescott. To hear some of you talk you would think that on every site that lists the team records they should instead of using the team name or city should use the QB name. Funny, not ha ha funny, it's a team sport where ALL players contribute to wins and LOSSES.

Interesting. How does this compare with all the other QBs?

If you don’t have it, I will go back and compare this this with our 2012 season since Prescott and Romo were only a couple yards away from each other and the teams were both 8-8 just so we can get some comparison.

I put up similar to this last season. Fans will always be more fickle of their on and the media will always use the Dallas Cowboys QB for ratings....thats my conclusion.
