I like Stephen and I like zeke. Those who don't are entitled to their opinions, no matter how wrong they are. But i deign from calling dissenters morons. That would just be rude.

Re-watch the good defenses we played last season, tell me how good this Offensive Line was in the run game. The Saint game comes to mind, they got destroyed in the trenches, same could be said against the Vikings. The OL hasn't been the same since Leary left the team, along with Frederick not playing to his former all-pro level.

Teams game plan to stop Zeke and dare Dak to beat them through the air. Again the team is 22-4 in games in which Zeke went over 100 rushing yards. His production is tied with the team winning football games. Football is about winning on sundays, Zeke's success is a big part of that. Look at all the other top running backs around the league, most play on terrible teams, since Zeke has arrived, the team has never had a losing record. Take Elliot off this team and they barely win 6 football games. You cannot just use situational analytics to determine if a back is elite or not, you have also factor in his actual production and how teams defend him.
Very astute observations.

being astute would mean he is accurate which he is mostly not but I don’t expect someone who doesn’t read the material proving they’re wrong to realize that

Sure is! Look up 1st quarter passing EPA.

Glad you asked.

The 1st quarter is a quarter of the game btw, what happens in that first quarter helps determine the outcome of the entire game. Happy to help!

So just a round about way of measuring scoring? The 1st quarter can be a quarter of the game...there are also 3 other quarters of the game. That was my point. If a game is decided in the 1st quarter it doesn't really matter how great any individual player on the losing player performs.

Another reason. Worst special teams in the league we only started one drive on the opponents side of the field last season. By the time Elliot and Company got to the end zone he was gassed. Took him self out I have so many drives it drove me crazy. Again let’s hope for better special-teams and more balance

and here's my thang, i want the coaches closely monitoring and making the decision to take zeke out, than zeke tapping himself
out, (excluding injury) especially when we are in the red zone scoring area. That's when we need his talent as a powerful angry runner
that finishes and has a knack for the goal line. i thought the previous coaching regime allowed zeke to get into a bad habit of that
and hes' gonna have to be re-programmed

also as i've been constantly reinterating that we need the 2016 Zeke back. A deadly combination of a powerful angry runner who also had
homerun breakaway speed that instantly changed game momentum and broke the spirits of opposing defenses in a blink.
He was Adrian Peterson in 2016, but the Garrett regime wanted him to be more Emmitt Smith bell cow.

The Packer's Aaron Jones didn't wait till the 4th quarter to run all over us, he did it all game long. That did the trick.
With McCarthey's connections to Jones and him being a FA this next offseason, I wouldn't be surprised to see him ship Zeke out and sign Jones.

This offense with an total package RB like Jones would be so awesome.

I've tried very much to not call names. I might have and I am sorry.

I will, though, call an idea or notion "moronic".

Wait...I thought we had a terrible defense. Oh...you only use that stat when you need to support your agenda...like protecting dak?

How is he wrong? You can;t just say "he's wrong"...and not say what it is. Well you can I guess. But it's meaningless.

Pretty sure CJ Anderson did the same thing and he was a half a season rental, not the highest paid RB in the league.

Don’t give me false hope, I’m already getting excited at just the thought but I doubt it would ever happen.

"Pollard's yards per carry should be higher, he's the change of pace back" y'all expect so little of Zeke you make up excuses for why his backup is more effecient than he is. Yet all around the league starters on average outpace their backup in yards per carry, and that is why.... they are the backup.

Reminder, Pollard averaged almost a full yard more than Zeke per carry, A FULL YARD!

It’s all about balance. Dink and dunk was a winning scheme. Then we changed it because everybody wanted 400 yards passing games. Then we prove we could do that. But obviously you lose because that’s all you do is pass and you’ll lose your balance. Prescott needs Elliot Elliot needs Prescott. It’s called team for a reason

Exactly! And there was nothing wrong with dink and dunk. It moved the ball, ate up clock, and won games

We had a bad defense. Let's hop it actually improves.
Well I don’t consider having the 6th overall defense and 5th against the run bad but yes, let’s hope we get better and a back up RB doesn’t make the alleged best RB in the league look like a scrub in yet another big game.

We have both given examples of RBs that ran all over this defense so please let's not buy into the exaggerated ratings that have the defense at 6th overall. They were much worse.
