I don’t pretend to be an expert in evaluating overall NFL talent of a player. In fact, I’ve stated just the opposite many many times in the past. I’ve been watching the Cowboys and the NFL since the 60’s. What laymen like me always do is focus on the QB. So after over 50 years of watching NFL games one thing I have learned is what makes a great NFL QB. Of course you have to have the physical traits to withstand the punishment the position incurs. Dak is 6’2” 238lbs. Check. You have to have the arm strength to make all the NFL throws. Check. You have to be accurate. Dak has a 65.8 career completion rate and amongst the highest at 20 yard throws plus. Check. But most of all and the most important is that a QB has to have an intense desire to succeed. An intense competiveness to refuse to give up. It doesn’t matter if you have the rest, if a QB doesn’t give a **** about being successful he won’t. Some call it moxie. Whatever you want to call it, the greats have it. Montana, Brees, Brady, Elway, Staubach, Aikman, Manning. Name one of the greats and the common thread is this intense desire to succeed. Dak has that and will soon me considered by everyone as elite. Everyone except the well known haters here who continue to make ***** of themselves every time they crap on Dak.
Amen, bro. Well said.

LVE had one good year and one bad year also injured. Connor williams is a backup tbh that had to start. Gallup is a great pick in the 3rd. but i said collectively all 3 years one decent draft surrounded by 2 bad ones is still below average.
LVE has been a good pick
Williams has been the starter and may very well be the starter this year
Gallup is a stud
2017 you have two very good CB in awuzie and Lewis
2019 you have pollard and McGovern that are both good picks
Every draft isn’t bringing HOF players
Good solid starter with multiple picks is a good draft

It's real simple with Prescott....he is good enough to have a chance to win with.

He will need help to do so....as would anyone, including Mr Mahomes.

Not many people in the world fit into that category.

LOL at the few people who want to bring up Taco and Hill and say the front office can’t draft. Even Assuming Hill is a bust, that is still better than other NFL teams do. And that is without bringing up the great draft years of 2010 - 2016.

Dallas drafts well.

I'm where he was. Not sold on Dak before last year, but seeing a *huge* improvement in accuracy, with his bad throw percentage 6th lowest in the league last year. Also pulling the trigger a lot faster, and with less happy feet in the pocket.

Accuracy was always the big knock on Dak, and now 6th in the league. Durable, never missing a game. And a good running QB. He has it all now.

Such a no brainer signing. Dalton was like a mil or half a mil more than Cooper Rush. I can't imagine he was offering the same deal across the league, as who wouldn't take it?

Spotrac had his estimated market value at 25mil.
We’ve had one of the best (if not the best) value in the league over the past 4 years in Dak. Same people loving on Opie didn’t like Dak. Any reason why money wasn’t a factor from 2016-2019?
