100% Greed. No question.
Peter King said that the nfl teams will have to get use to the possibility of teams having a unfair advantage this season not just with fans but In the schedule, players not playing because of the illness etc.

well players coaches being sick is not something that can be controlled but selling tickets is.

The nfl goes crazy trying to create competitive balance from the way they draft, make rules, the salary cap, share tv and ticket revenue etc.

It would make no sense for the nfl to allow fans in some stadiums and not in others.

Boy, some can make some stupid money reselling their tickets.

according to the cowboys official statement the tickets have to be used by the person purchasing the ticket or a family member.

How they expect to enforce that I do not know and I do not know why all of a sudden this would be a rule when they know most of the tickets are sold for profit on the secondary market normally.

So foolish. Today the eagles announced no fans for at least the opener.

How is the nfl going to allow 1/4th of the nfc east to have fans? Its against competitive balance.

also Tarrant County has as many positive cases of the pmurt Virus as 25 states do....just tarrant county. Seems pretty dangerous.

then again this is the man who makes decisions on where to have training camp based on how much soda he can sell...so in perspective the greed makes sense.
IMO its not up to them , if the state allows it and the team wants it , then the NFL can suk it..its called home field advantage this isnt the bubble and if its legal to allow fans , then you let fans and the Team worry about what they do..

Besides revenue, what competitive balance is being lost?

Additionally, the Cowboys are going cashless. If you’re paying for food, drinks or parking, you’ll have to do it with debit, credit or mobile pay.

I wish that was made permanent policy. Personal electronic transactions can have their drawbacks too. Slow connection at point-of-sale and faulty card readers are a couple of examples. Even so, I think most delays are caused by the simple act of making change between merchant and customer.

Then again, Jones could also be doing it due to the coin shortage also lol.

then why have all the competition committee meetings....why have it at all...Just everyone do what you want.

its not called home field advantage, its an unfair advantage. Dallas having more seats than everyone but washington is a home field advantage. This is much different.

Just because some of these states are run by complete whack jobs shouldn't allow a handful of teams to get an advantage.

Someone needs to try this and make it work so others can see that it can work.

Absolutely no reason that it cant.

People that DO attend need to not put themselves around people at serious risk afterward.

I think 30% capacity is very doable conservatively.

crowd noise? Dallas at NY...no fans...no noise. NY at Dallas....fans...noise...

Really? A few pods are going to rip off their masks and bother the giants? I have a feeling it will be more like the 1987 session during the replacement players. It was quiet. You could actually hear exactly what a fan was saying from 20 rows away.
