Thought he was going to say "Some of us like him, some of us don't, and some of us haven't formed an opinion yet"

Which would have been a truthful answer.
Some of yo posters and your egos are unbelievable. Zeke is lying because you know the locker room better than him? Maybe everybody said they loved him. But YOU the couch potato knows the truth :lmao:

Beware of the love of Cowboys for their coach, they loved Campo and Phillips right out of a job.

There is not much difference in talent level between a lot of NFL teams. Good coaching can overcome the mistakes that players inevitably make. Mediocre coaching means you don't have that edge or even the ability to break even in that area against the Green Bays in the playoffs.

Other teams fumble, throw interceptions, etc., in the playoffs and win because good coaching helps them overcome those mistakes IMO.
Again I’m not disagreeing here Garrett was a failure but that being said players make plays or in some cases don’t

Great to hear that Zeke, now I would love to see you stop being such a bonehead off the field.

Studying film and understanding what happened is what any player needs to do to improve. I happen to think that Elliott is a very good player, one of the best at his position, but I don't think that not knowing why you weren't as good at something is going to make you better at it.

Of course, he has coaches to help him with that.
he doesnt have to make that a public comment to make fans like you feel better..point missed any?

And I've said this before, many of our players get put under a microscope because they had to be perfect in order for us to win and weren't.

If you do the same thing with other players even ones that "make plays," you'll also see in victories plays they didn't make: overthrows, drops, dropped ints., fumbles. Those teams overcome those mistakes with superior coaching that puts them back in position to make plays. There are exceptions to that, of course.

And I can point out when he didn't, when he was asked directly what he could have done differently or better to break some of those runs and answered, "I don't know." Point missed any?

I don't know if Belichick's players love him but they love playing for him.

The definition of coaching, putting your players in their best possible situation to succeed would get love. Think Chaz Green loved him some Garrett? The single worst job of coaching of any Cowboys HC in the history of the franchise. Absolutely defines bad coaching.

zeke just being honest. he sees the possibilities for the team to improve with the new head coach. actually everyone who understands the value of coaching sees it. all reports are that zeke is getting a lot of different looks as a receiver. this should make him happy.

Would have liked a better answer on why he had fewer 20-plus-yard runs. If he had even just said that those type runs are dependent upon a lot of factors, it would have been better than "I don't know." That just shows that he hasn't gone back and examined it.
I thought several questions were awkward to answer.

The one about the 20 yd+ runs not happening..

and the one about talking to Big Mike about being sure Zeke gets involved and gets his carries becuz there is so much buzz about throwing this year..

sort of loaded questions with answers that will draw controversy no matter what.

I was surprised nobody asked him about the dog episode and how that was going.

Zeke talks about having a chip on his shoulder to deal with every year.

I hope he does. Strongly love the guy.

He has carried this team for 4 years now IMO and deserves his contract and every good thing his way.

Time for this team to back him up better IMO.

Well get out there and play like it. Show me on the field . All those beautiful yard you get. You don’t even have to try for them. That’s how talented you are. I want you to be like your first season get those yard you’re not supposed to get.

Lol, back him up better? He’s had one of the best run blocking lines in the league since his rookie year and a top receiving core for at least 2 out of four years. What more do you want? Most RB’s would have similar success behind this line and would love to be in a similar situation.

“Back him up better” you gotta be kidding me.
