Dak, according to his fan boys here, is better than Mahomes.

Seriously?

How do you sleep at night?

I don't think anyone thinks that. Pat is #1 in nfl.

Write that again.
Write that again, me good lad Chagus.
I need the reassurance that the universe is stable and Mahomes, not Dak, is the best in the NFL.
Do it!

After this year I see Dak breaking hearts in Phoenix, Washington or in Buffalo.

And the Dak fan boys will be wearing their jerseys.

Give me a couple more years and I'll get back with you on that rating.

And if you forgot all about it, don't worry. I'll remind you.

10 being superb like Mahomes, 1 being a retired JaMarcus Russell

If Mahomes and Lamar are likely Nos. 10 and 9, does it make our highly paid Dak a No. 4?
I don't see Dak being within spitting distance of their talent, along with that of Brees, Brady, Rogers. Even Rivers and Goff and Watson and Garrapolo

Face it, stenographers, buskers, sharks and contractors.
Our QB is the Da Vinci of mediocrity and worse.

You know, I once thought it was just Romo. I thought some of these fans for some reason hate the guy. They've just got it in their head that he's a choker or joker and refuse to let that image go no matter what he does.

I also thought, just wait until the next guy comes along and some of these fans would finally acknowledge how good Romo was in a bad situation. Some have, but for the wrong reasons. Now, they want to disparage our current QB, who may or may not be as good or better than Romo depending on your perspective.

So I've come to the conclusion that some of you just love to hate your team's QB. If he's not Roger Staubach or Troy Aikman, then he's mediocre or worse. In fact, I believe if Roger or Troy were playing now (and not the well-known Super Bowl-winning QBs we love), some of you would hate them too.

Saubach and Aikman were winners.
Romo perfected he 8-8 season and Dak is now carrying the torch.

Aikman was booed at home in his final years. People wanted him and Emmitt replaced and couldn't wait to make the new guy an all pro.

same happened in 16. The guy was supposedly the "Anti Romo" as I heard on here and the local radio station that covers the team. All year long he was the anti romo......didn't look to throw deep, didn't let the playclock run down and check the play at the line of scrimmage, just ran what linehan told him to, he could run with the ball and of course he never turned the ball over. The arrogance around these parts going into that Packers playoff game because we now had the Anti-Romo at qb was amusing.

then it was 21-0 in the first quarter and the guy threw a redzone interception late in the third quarter and couldn't get the team into the end zone on a final drive and had to settle for a field goal and left time on the clock for Rodgers.

and he has been chasing that season ever since. in '17 he ran the play clock down every play just like Romo, he started looking to throw deep all the time, once he got hit more because of a few injuries he looked like a completely different player. No playoffs....they scapegoated a bunch of players as the reason.

then in 18 when we didn't have upper talent at every spot they were under .500 then they turned it on midway and made the playoffs only to lose on the road just like they did to minnesota in 09..(They all blamed and still do for some reason this loss on Romo) after this game they scapegoated the offensive coaching staff laying the blame at all linehan's feet as a source of weakness.

then in 19 they put the ball in his hands and said go win games for us you have a ton of talent around you and he came up short with the game on the line time and time again. at the jets, saints, pats, eagles and home to the vikings. Missed the playoffs because they lost to one of the worst offenses they have played in years at Philly.

I hate even bringing this stuff up because 90% of the people can not accurately remember what happened years ago let alone one year ago. The same people on the radio here locally that were throwing a party because the cowboys finally had the Anti-Romo are now talking about who will replace him because he cant get it done and has an enormous contract demands. So the Anti-Dak is right around the corner.

Off the top of the dome and in no particular order:

Mahommes, Lamar, Brees, Rodger's, & Wilson are better overall QB's.

Everyone else though, you are really splitting hairs.

And remember, there is alot more to playing the Quarterback position than throwing the ball.
Good post, I agree with your list except for Lamar. Only because I need to see more.

I remember how bad he was his rookie season and also in the playoffs. Need a little more time to see who he really is.

I think a 4 is about right.
